Went to the Flemish Weaver (pub in historic town of Corsham, Wiltshire) Saturday with a couple of friends who had been before and highly recommended it. Warm welcome, steak deal on Saturday (and Wednesday nights) 2 x tbone (10 ozs) steaks with all the trimmings with a bottle of wine. £20.00 for 2 people. Food was really, really good, wine... More

I've been here twice, the first time we popped in for a quiet drink one evening, the glass I was served my drink in was filthy, I didn't even want to drink out of it. The second time we came back I didn't expect to receive yet another dirty glass. Come on people this is a pub! The least I... More

We were made very welcome when we called in for a lunchtime coffee after walking our dog. Lovely homely atmosphere - our dog was not restricted to any particular area, but we were considerate in keeping him out of the dining area, as there were people eating. We would thoroughly recommend a visit here - it was so nice to... More

An attractive, stone built pub at the end of the High Street, it’s not quite as traditional and atmospheric as you might expect from looking at the outside, but is nonetheless a pleasant spot to stop for a pint or a bite to eat. There is a courtyard at the rear with a few picnic benches, and signs advertised a... More

Did not enjoy our meal at this pub. There was a cat roaming round the seats in the restaurant. One of our group found a hair in their meal, so could not finish it. The chips were cold and were not cooked properly. No one came and asked if everything was okay. We will not be going back there and... More

I visited the Flemish Weaver at 7:00 on a Wednesday evening. The bar was busy but there were already some customers the worse for wear at such an early hour. Not long after arrival a fight broke out between a couple of the drunks. The bar staff could not have cared less about things and allowed the ill feeling to... More

Don't understand the negative comments on here. Becky and her team run a traditional town centre pub with a pub menu, and there are traditional pub games to play. Also there is a quirky wood burner with adds to the charm. The real ale is always well kept with plenty of choice and the food is always well cooked and... More
