This pub has been transformed into a gastronomic delight. The wood burning oven provides a unique flavour to the vegetables and meat which is succulent, smoky and sensational. The quirky rooms have been renovated with imagination and sensitivity and the staff are friendly and knowledgable and the place is faultless. We'll be back again, again and again (so long as... We had never been to Bradford on Avon but had heard some good reviews of BOG from some French friends, so decided to give both a try. We didn't see too much of BOA as it was a cold, wet, blustery day which scuppered our plans to walk around the town, but what we did see looked interesting enough to... More

We had an after dinner drink here - amazing atmosphere and good service. Was a perfect find in a relatively quite town. Good, although not very long, wine list.

Very attentive, helpful and friendly service. We enjoyed a delicious supper. I recommend the moules and we had an outstanding bottle of wine (Oiseau). Very cosy and surprisingly busy for a rainy Monday night in Bradford on Avon. Good value too for really great food.

My partner and I visited last night for the first time since its re opening. And the whole experience went above our expectations. from the outside this looks like a warm inviting restaurant and bar, mood lighting in the restaurant was just right. staff very smiley and Friendly, and the food was perfect! portion sizes were just right to leave... Our second visit to the grapes was different but just as enjoyable. The word has spread and the upstairs restaurant was fully booked all evening so we chose instead to dine downstairs in the bar. Table for two, starters of aubergine tartine and whole baked camembert, followed by the bunch burger and entrecote steak frites. All very tasty! Try the... More

Saturday evening at the BOG was to be our third visit. We had previously enjoyed pleasant food and drinks. The evening begun with a less than friendly/courteous phone call at 5.45pm from BOG confirming our 6.30pm booking and "to be made aware" we only had it until 8.30pm (not the relaxed, take your time bit of rural France influence advertised).... We can only apologise for this, it really should not have happened this way. The only explanation, which is of course not an excuse, is that we're still a relatively new business, being open for only ten weeks this week and we're still trying to figure out how to make it work. I think we have got the food and... More

Have been a few times now & love the menu, so had to try their new roast & we weren't disappointed - beautifully cooked short rib of beef & dauphinoise potatoes to die for! The veg were by no means you're average Sunday offering & were delicious

First time here and last ! While the food was very good I do not think a phone call approx 45 mins before we are due is the correct way to do business.Reason for the call was to ask us if we could leave by 8.45pm and than to be told our table was booked for 6.30 pm when the... More

Thanks for the feedback and so sorry to have fallen short of the mark here. I think this was a case of bad communication on our part. We absolutely should not have called you on the evening of your booking with this message about a time slot. This was a case of a very committed but quite new team, who... More

Wonderful food today. Have eaten downstairs mid week but their new Sunday lunch menu was launched today. Fabulous spatchcock poussin had good flavour. Star of the show was the choices of vegetables accompanying - bowl of roasted root veg and another with greens - really tasty. Choice of Boulanger pots or dauphinois pots. The beef was highly rated. £20 per... More
