Yet another fabulous family Birthday celebratory meal - thank you! We first came for Sunday lunch when the restaurant first opened in 2011 for my daughter's 18th & have been back for various celebrations every year since. The food & service are unbelievable, as is the attention to detail. The staff are a credit to the restaurant. The understated elegance... More

Popped in here for lunch today. The food was simply stunning, really, really good. There's an extensive wine list and even the less expensive was great. Service was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. This place is exceptional.

I visited The Three Gables with my wife, my mum and my dad as a treat on the day before Mothers' Day. It was my parents' first visit and they were very impressed, Mum said she felt like she'd eaten like a queen and the service swiped her sideways! I have to say this is my favourite restaurant. Whenever we... More

We went here last week for dinner during a holiday in the area. Wonderful food and service - cannot fault it. Really original menu. Only wish we lived closer to return again !

We had an afternnon tea after visiting the vecinities as a family. Nice building that could be better decorated but maybe it is part of the 'attraction'. It was quiet and we all enjoyed the tea. Very polite and smiling waitresses dressed Victorian style. Scones were good and cakes too. Pop in if you are around and have some time... More

We popped in for a light lunch and chose from their £12 special menu - we defy you to find a better meal at anything approaching this price. We enjoyed plaice with garlic mash and crispy kale followed by chocolate brownie and creme brulee, which we shared. Everything was cooked to perfection. We were told that the restaurant has two AA... Combine a birthday with a champagne tasting menu and daughter able to drive with innovative food and superb service - makes one want to get older immediately and repeat. £85 a head is not cheap but when it involves vintage champagnes from House of Deutz and and a chateauneuf du pape it becomes more creditable. But what makes this is... More

A special night out with friends and thought we would try as we had heard mixed reviews and knew it was very expensive. The building has been restored beautifully and a lovely setting. The service was fantastic - very attentive but not in your face. Waiting to order we were brought a plate of canapes, olives and tiny soufflés and... More

Greeted on arrival by pleasant and friendly staff shown to our seats for pre-dinner drinks to look through the menu and make our selection with a glass each of Processco and canape's. the staff were very helpful with making wine suggestions to match with the food. Our order was taken quickly and we were shown to our table shortly after... More
