A Classic

The perfect place for tea. Brownie with morello cherries is to die for. Tea served properly in a pot with chine cups. Lovely friendly service, delightful decor.

Visited Le Journal Cafe recently and absolutely love it. The delicious homemade kind of omelette and cafe I was served. On top of it warm service from the staff and for my surprise the owner too. Highly recommended.

Visited Le Cafe Journal last week with friends for a chilled out lunch and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere is one of calmness and uniqueness. The charming environment of this cafe, delicious homemade food prepared on the premises, along with the friendly staff and owner, made our visit a delight and a reason to return again and again!

Had a great impromptu lunch here. Probably the best baked spud I have ever had, followed by a lovely french apple cake, and washed down with great coffee. The place was a little bizarre and attracts an eclectic mix of locals and tourists I suspect. The service was excellent, witty and a bit weird! I will definitely return. Hard to... More

We have been to this wonderful little cafe four times now. The owner is a charming, friendly lady and her cakes (homemade) are to die for, particularly the apple cake..... The cafe is an unassuming little cafe, but don't be put off by the lack of razzmatazz, go in and try it, you will not use any other cafe in Warminster... More

Delicious, good quality coffee (of course) plus a vast array of black & herbal teas, homemade cakes, snacks/light lunches such as soups, hummus & salads. They also run special nights based on different cuisines such as Jamaican or French. Really nice, relaxed atmosphere - Chiefy & the rest of the guys here really make you feel at home. Love this... We really enjoy this quirky place, it feels comfortable, the staff are friendly, the coffee is first class and the cakes are home made and delicious. They do great pastries too and seem to always offer a lovely gluten free cake (courgette and almond) and a home style apple cake along with others. They do lunches too but we haven't... More

This place sells THE most delicious home made cakes EVER! Quirky French-style interior and friendly staff. Definitely recommended.
