I eat regularly at the Woolpack, I have never eaten better, I had rib eye steak the other night, I have never had better. Sunday roasts are the best around.

The Woolpack has a superb chef/proprietor, and the food is always delicious. It's great for a quick lunch or a special occasion. The staff are always helpful and friendly. We have staff Christmas meals here, and are regulars. It should be higher in the ranks, not many places come close in the area! They also let you order take away... More

Without a doubt the very best Sunday roast beef dinner I have ever had (except for my Nans of course)

Not a bad little place, quite small, and to be honest not a great atmosphere, menu limited and really should state more of contents in menu, Cold Honey Chicken, (more like Coronation Chicken) containing eggs, not good for allergies...

We live down in the town(Warminster) so get a taxi out here when ever we eat here which tends to be for special occasions because of the cost. It is one of those village pubs that is now more of an eating place than an old village drinking style pub which I have no complaints about but I guess some... More

We both ordered the fish cakes and salad, which were both lovely. Great pub and nice staff. The best meal we had all weekend.

The best Sunday roast ever, beautifully cooked and served. Friendly efficient staff and reasonable prices. A good varied menu. Very lucky to have this as my local as I have just moved to the area. Will be trying the rest of the menu when friends and family come to visit.

We are lucky to have quite a few good local eating places, but this is far and away the best for food. Relatively small, tucked away in a Wiltshire village with poor parking this is a gastronomic gem. The best Rib Eye steaks and saute potatoes you will find anywhere. Always a good selection on the menu using the best... More

I have dined here on several occasions and am a huge fan of the Woolpack burger, but have never been for Sunday lunch. We booked as a party of eight, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. The portions of meat with the roasts were generous and perfectly cooked and the... More

We were looking for a place to eat local to us and came across The Woolpack at Sutton Veny, just outside of Warminster. Received a very warm welcome from all staff and the menu had a good choice, which we feel would have suited many people. Very reasonable prices and food was excellent and presented beautifully. Will definitely return again... More
