As the title says, plus it's "cozy" and the staff are friendly without being obsequious or overly familiar.

5th dinner at the Weymouth and apart from a little bit of confusion over the booking confirmation the evening was excellent. Food was well cooked, well presented and well served. Small point but the wine and water glasses were spotless and gleamed like new. Portions are large and for someone wirth a smaller appetite may be a bit overwhelmed but... More

We recieved a warm welcome at the bar and the staff were very attentive throughout the night tending to our every need. I had the steak which was cooked beautifully. Went here with high expectations after a number of people have said how good it was. Food was very good but not for the price. Equally good food locally better priced. Went with a group of friends and an evening meal with drinks came out at £50pp. Would expect more for this. Pub is dark and pokey and one member... More

This is a place which serves up excellent quality food for the gourmand among us whilst still being reasonably priced. Open kitchen so you can see food being prepared. Good staff too. Need to book for larger parties.

With friends, we had a celebration of our 45th wedding anniversary at the Weymouth Arms. Every thing, bar one detail, was excellent, the food, service ambience and menu could not have been better for the occasion, and, given the kind of meal, it was not very expensive. The only slightly irritating thing was that they use a cleansing spray on... More

I didn't intend to eat here both nights of my stay but the food and atmosphere was so good I couldn't see the point of looking for somewhere else.

My wife Glen and I experienced the Weymouth Arms for the first time today. The food, service and surroundings were simply stunning. The food was the best we have experienced and the most difficult thing was to decide what to choose from the menu! We can wait for the next time we visit the restaurant.
