Good place, better memories

Some of my best Erasmus memories are setting here. Nice irish pub .On Tuesday's nights open also an upper disco that closes quite "late"

Nothing to dislike. The staff the service and the food and drink all faultless. Families were made very welcome as long as the kids were out of the bar by nine pm.

My husband,a few friends and I visited The Anchor on a Saturday evening in Feb,the place was extremely busy(we hadn't booked) but staff were more than happy to accommodate us as long as we didn't mind being in the "wee cubby" as you enter the restaurant..quite frankly it's a lovely space to eat in..it's a high table but not an... The friendly barman / waiter went through the menu and gave us the run down on the meals, drinks and value. There was a three course meal for the price of the main course. We tried burger, and Steak and Guinness pie. Just delicious and washed down with a pint of the dark stuff for me, and an unusual ginger... More

Great Bar with tremendous atmosphere, especially when live Irish music bands are performing and you are able to join in with the dancing!

Food was good and with 3 courses for price of main good value. Dessert was malteasers cheesecake but was just plain with 3/4 malteasers on top. Service was ok... We were served by two different people. One was really friendly, the other not so much! Place is decorated beautifully!

Always friendly welcome in the pub downstairs, roaring fire and good Guinness. Food is reliably decent, good portions and solid local fare - just don't expect fine dining or exciting spice!

We thought this bar was lovely and the real fire gave atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and the food was really good and very good value for money. Plenty to choose from on the menu. It is definitely worth a visit. We visit the Portrush/Portstewart area very regularly and are disappointed that it has taken us till now to... More
