Another great meal at The Roebuck. They have a really varied menu, something for everyone. We sat in The Snug which to be fair was quite chilly. However, the waiting staff noticed immediately that we were cold and rushed in with a heater for us. Great food, quality service. We'll be back!

The best pub food I have had in the area at anywhere near the price. I met with a group of friends there at lunchtime today and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The food is produced on the premisses and is delicious. I had the home cooked honey roast ham with poached eggs parsley sauce and very crispy chips. My... More

Haven't been for a while. Just popped in for coffee, fire lit so very cosy on a winters day. Staff as always, lovely. Will be back soon to sample more of the new menu

Went for a girlie catch up, had amazing food, rib eye steak with habanero sauce, real unique taste with a kick! Lovely attentive staff! Can't wait for my next visit! ✔️

I have been to the Roebuck several times, either to eat or just for drinks. On each occasion the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere and decor is very cosy. Aspalls cider is served which is a plus! I asked if I could buy the Aspalls glass and I was allowed to just keep it. Varied menu and... More

A friendly reception was followed by attentive service in the restaurant. The menu choice was extensive and when it arrived very promptly was absolutely excellent. Tasty food, well cooked and in a decent portion. A fifth star would be awarded if there was a disabled parking space.

We visited just after Christmas with friends. The Roebuck was chosen for several reasons. 1) A wide ranging menu, 2) Good atmosphere, 3) Good beer choice, 4) Brisk and friendly service. They did not disappoint. The meals we received were all delicious, ranging from nachos, lamb koftas and fish goujons to start to mains of a veggie burger, homemade pie... More

Have eaten here several times now as its local and in the vain hope things would improve. Basically it hasn't. Basic food which is pretty tasteless. Not cheap either. Have finally given up.

We always get caught up in the Christmas party season and the bar was indeed full, but the staff took us under their wing right away and sat us down by the log burner with drinks and menus until our booked table was free. Soon we had our large table for 4 in a bay window, plenty of elbow room!... More

With friends we enjoyed an early Christmas night out at The Roebuck. We pre booked from their Christmas menu and all enjoyed what they had chosen, especially the fish starter which was a smoked salmon mousse, the vegetarian choice for main was also excellent but would have benefited from being served with roast potatoes and winter vegetables to make it...
