A group of us visited the restaurant late Sunday afternoon, the service was very good and the pice was reasonable. My starter was undercooked but rectified in a very good way. My main a Sunday roast was ok. The meat was very fatty but the veg was very good. All in all. Could do better but was ok

The ingredients were good quality and the portions were a good size, not what you expect for that price. Lovely decor, excellent service and fantastic food at... More

A huge thank you to the staff at the throckmorton for tonight. We came in without a reservation on a Saturday night and were made most welcome. The food was great, the men folk had steak which was cooked brilliantly, and I had chicken which was equally as delicious. And as for the service, they were more than accommodating for... More

Six of us ate at The Throckmorton this evening and it was really good. My wife and I shared the house platter for starters - very good, especially the duck & port pate - and I had the pie of the day from Fladbury butchers for main. It was a steak and stilton pie served with mash, a pot of... More
