Title says it all. This is a fantastic freehouse with a great atmosphere. Brilliant for either a few beers or for quality food. The chips a genuinely the best chips anywhere!

Food was excellent ,one of the best meals out for a long time! Good service and reasonably priced Highly recommended will definitely revisit

We use The Turks normally for brunch on Saturdays. We have eaten occasionally on a Friday, but tends to get very busy. The food is good & locally sourced, the beer is well kept and has a range of guest beers, as this is a free house

we went here for lunch off a recommendation, and we was not disappointed the food was great and the staff were all very helpful, this is what I call an old traditional drinkers pub, very pleasant and will be going back.
