Enjoyed a Sunday Roast of dry aged Angus Roast Beef cooked to absolute perfection. The meat serving was sufficient but as so delicious I could have eaten another slice. The vegetables were also cooked perfectly. I have yet to discover why the oversized individual Yorkshire Puddings are called "Warwickshire Puddings". The Warwickshire Puddings were just OK and quality rather than... More

Simon has got what it takes along with Agnes make a perfect combination., great setting and lovely food , wine and Hogans. Everyone should try the Arrow. Mushrooms followed by roast beef being one of the favourites... More

Place was booked for a 25th wedding anniversary , it had to be cancelled just under a month before as one of the main couple was diagnosed with cancer. A refund was refused even though the situation was fully explained. The management have the morals of a pig and should be ashamed of themselves.

The breads, tapenade olives etc. to start were a tasty surprise and free of charge. The starter of asparagus, poached egg, parma ham very high standard. The lamb chump main was ok, could have been served pink instead of cooked through, the sauce was a little bland. The monk fish main was disappointing, it lacked the Indian garnishes advertised on... You can't fault this building on its beautiful location, it's so tranquil with the mill pond and greenery around. However you do wonder on arrival why the place is near on empty for a Saturday evening. Well firstly on ordering drinks at the bar it's seems that to serve the man his drink before the lady is acceptable; picky maybe... More

Took my mum for lunch today, this was the best meal I have had in ages, the menu is not large but I had difficulty choosing because all dishes were so appealing and have been sourced carefully using local fresh produce and cooked and presented with obvious passion. I could not find any fault and am amazed they have not... More

A beautiful setting even on a grey rainy day. Nicely appointed restaurant overlooking the mill pond and race. We had drinks in the bar followed by an excellent two course meal. We were well but discreetly looked after by the staff. Starters were ragged duck leg surmounted by a duck egg. Well flavoured and very tasty. Mains were steak, hand... More

We had not visited this restaurant for a number of years but decided to take some freinds in order for them to celebrate a birthday. We are so glad that we did. The setting remained as lovely as ever but the food had improved immeasurably. The choices on the menu were a lot less than previously, but this meant that... More
