I used to work in Portadown and regularly ate at the Yellow Door. Having not been in the area for a few years I called this morning for breakfast. What a disappointment. My wife had bacon, pancakes and maple syrup. Two cold pancakes and two limp pieces of bacon..... I went for a full breakfast, again, the bacon was limp... More

Pretentious food at high prices for what you get. I had a roast beef sandwich which was very tasty but it was on the small side and the rest of the plate was filled up with cous cous and salad. That and a coffee for nearly a tenner.. wise up!!

I've eaten here a few times and overall i've been quite happy but my last visit wasn't really all that good. The food was tasty but the service wasn't good at all which is a pity as it really does have a lot of potential. You can give it a go but I don't think i'll be in a rush... More

Called in for lunch with my fiancé on NYE. Atmosphere was great but the staff were clearly stretched, however you expect that at peak time. I had BBQ Melt Ciabatta and she had pork belly with a salad selection. The food was great with a brilliant array of flavours and all for £13 including drinks. I would highly recommend a... More

Went to the Yellow Door for mid morning tea and scones and wasn't disappointed. Prompt service had organic earl grey tea which was lovely and the large scones were lovely. Comfortable clean surroundings with a nice atmosphere.

We visit on a regular basis and were very disappointed when we called for breakfast recently, we ordered tea for two a small pot arrived very weak and didn't fill two cups when we asked for a refill pointing this out we were met with an unsatisfactory response of that's what you get. The pot was reluctantly refilled with the... More

Popped in for lunch today. Eaten here many times before. We both tried the fillet steak sandwich which was very good with great chips and side salad and a nice aoli. The toilets were very clean and smelled of marzipan which was a first for me!! The service was a bit slow. I think we had been forgotten about and... More

I eat here maybe twice a week and while the food is usually very good , the standard of service is going down hill. On my last visit my soup arrived tepid so I sent it back.....I had to send it back twice more before it was finally hot enough. The young lady who served me obviously couldn't have cared... More

I called in here for food with my sisters about 2 weeks ago. I had only ever heard great reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately I left very disappointed, my potato and leek soup was so salty I couldn't even finish half of it and the service was terrible, the food was down yet we hadn't been... More
