I visited The Halfway House for lunch with my aunt and uncle who are both over eighty. The food was tasty and well presented. The staff were very competent, pleasant and helpful. Thank you to Natalie and Amir. The only negative would be to have an option for smaller portions as there was some wastage, although we did our best... More

Where do I Start.... We were told about this place from someone at the shopping outlet at Banbridge. Been there about 3 times now. Amazing food, good size portions, real vegetables (not frozen), well presented. Staff are all happy friendly and attentive, one member in particular Amy, made us feel very welcome and stands out with her friendly smile. We... More

The food is unreal the steak is so tasty it's a tough choice between eating it as it is served or adding the delicious sauces, which you can't bring yourself to pass by ! The kids meals are presented with a real flair especially the sunflower desert -... More

From the moment I booked the Halfway House for a family get together until the moment I left after our night out I couldn't praise the management and staff enough. We booked a meal with Amy Shannon for 30 people for the 12th July evening as we had friends over from New Zealand [their first visit to Northern Ireland] and... More

We hadn't been to the Halfway in quite some time as our previous 2 visits as a family were distinctly average and nothing to rush back for, but we heard they had been refurbished a while back and had improved. I'm going to list the positive points first so as ppl don't get the wrong idea and think it's all... More

Ate here with friends and family on fri11 July , all 7 of us were suitably impressed. Lovely restaurant with homely atmosphere. Food was superb, my fillet steak cooked med/rare & just as I like it, probably the nicest I've had!!! All of our party were raving about their meal & we have already made plans to return, FAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
