Thank you so much for your excellent service, there were 52 of us, the room was beautifully set up, the food was all served hot and really delicious, the attention given to us by all staff members was really appreciated, a perfect finish to an already good day out!

From our initial meeting with Amy, the events manager to our departure after our visit we had professional service. Extremely friendly attentive staff, especially in the function room. Super service, nothing was any trouble. Even brought a birthday candle to adorn the dessert of one of our members. Very tasty, well cooked and well presented food. Lovely room and specially... More

This is a beautiful bar/restaurant and although we have never eaten there ourselves the restaurant always seems to be busy. We would call in maybe once every two months or so for some refreshments. We always found the staff most friendly and welcoming, the lounge very comfortable and the prices reasonable. On our last visit some three weeks ago we... More

Friendly service. Hubby said his roast was 'tasty'. So was my soup and sambo combo. Good sized portions, but desert menu a little limited. The most amazing thing about this place is the gizmo which means you can open the toilet door without touching the handle. Well done Halfway house; every public toilet should have one of these.

We live locally and dined at the halfway recently with visiting friends so I was disappointed when we all left grumbling about our visit. We were promptly shown to our table on arrival. I had to ask for a high chair for our 10 month old (on a previous visit wasn't offered one). We had to wait slightly longer than... More

On the recommendation of a work colleague, three of us, seekers of good food, ventured out of Belfast in search of some good food. I doubted, to be frank, that I'd find it in Banbridge and boy was I wrong. It was some much more than I had dared hope for. The standard was excellent in some many ways. The... More

We were holding a surprise 80th birthday party for my mum and booked the Halfway. They could not have done enough for us - anything we asked for we got - including all 27 of us around the one table! We arrived mid afternoon to set a few things up and discovered the room ready and Cara only too willing... More
