Attended family christening. Food and service was fantastic. Had brie for starters & roast beef for main course. Food was served very quickly by Shelley, Kenny & Amir. Will definately be back again

The meal was good and the staff were welcoming. A cute local restaurant. The young man at the bar was full of tips on the local area for us to visit.

Great food- wonderfully presented. Absolutely nothing to complain about with the food or the service. Top notch and comfortable. My wife is not that adventurous and generally sticks with chicken. She decided to treat her inner child and order, ostensibly, chicken fingers. These were anything but ordinary chicken strips. Freshly made with a homemade crusted coating and then served with... We had a family gethering here with over 30 family members in July. We had a nice private section of the restaurant to sit in which was great. Everyone was served promptly and the food was great. The sticky toffee pudding was fab! The staff were great too and were very accomodating when asked about changing the set menu for... More

Birthday celebration for family member - staff could not have been more friendly or attentive. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere and although busy, great service. I had the scampi, which was beautiful, and those who had steak or chicken curry were also delighted. Great value too.

I visited Halfway House for the first time a week or so ago and enjoyed the experience so much I returned again a few days later with my wife and two of our grandchildren. On both occasions the food was superb, the atmosphere was pleasant, the staff were attentive without being intrusive and the whole experience was one I look... More

I've been to the Halfway twice since it has been taken over by new management and it has improved hugely. Recently I had quite possibly the nicest (and biggest) fillet steak I've had in years here. The others at my table ordered the sirloin which was also perfect and the sides and sauces were all delicious. This just may be... More

My wife and I dined here after hearing that it was back to its former glory. We weren't disappointed! The food was exceptional and reasonably priced, arriving quickly despite it being a busy Saturday night. But what made the experience stand out was the attentive staff. They are a credit to the place. Well done halfway.

Having come here on several occasions, tonight's visit was spectacular! Service was fantastic with staff giving personal recommendations for us indecisive girls! Had the duck starter and it was huge but so tasty I polished the lot! Flat iron steak was cooked to perfection with a tweak to make sure no blood (served medium rare-asked for no blood just incase)... More

We used to be very regular visitors to the Halfway but just before it was sold we had a couple of bad meals so haven't been back for at least 5ys but tonight I persuaded my hubby to return after hearing good reports concerning new management. We both ordered fillet steak medium rare with side orders of garlic potatoes and... More
