As always anything Michael Deane puts his hand to works. Great food, had the breakfast menu and was very impressed. It's nice to eat a good quality cooked breakfast for a change instead of your usual greasy spoon. Premises immaculate and very child friendly. Will always be back.

I called in with my cousin for a quick lunchtime snack on 5 December, the restaurant was almost empty, five staff visible servicing five tables including our own, with almost all seating two. The staff member who seated us was very pleasant. However, things then went down hill, the service was exceptionally slow, from taking the order to the food... More

We were shopping at The Outlet with friends on a cold day and looking for a cup of coffee, all the usual coffee shops were full so decided to try Simply Deanes. I had a cappuccino and the rest of the party hot chocolate, which came with floating marshmallows. All four of us enjoyed warm, tasty scones served with butter,... More

I like contemporary design and a minimalist approach. However, I thought the cold concrete floor was taking things too far. This was most noticeable because there were so few other diners, even on a Sunday lunchtime. The echoes of the barren barn of a place were most off putting. The staff were pleasant enough. The food? I can't remember what... More

I was working in the area and went in on a Monay for lunch. I had to wait for ages on arrival even though the staff were well aware I was there, as requested to at the entrance, they looked up ignpred me and chatted among themselves. The place was not that busy. I felt I was reluctantly given a table... More

Expensive but good, situated in the Outlet village at Banbridge they need to realise that people / shoppers visit the Outlet to pick up bargains but they won't get one in Deanes as to us it is over priced and never busy. All you have to do is walk to the other end of the shopping centre and you will... More

My friend and I recently ate a cod and chips & mushy peas in this restaurant. I had been dissapointed two Christmasses ago at their restaurant in Belfast, but thought that this meal is simple and not much could go wrong. The batter was very greasy and so overcooked that it was breaking off in small pieces as I tried... More

We called on a Saturday afternoon, the staff are pleasant. The place is clean & the food was fine. Good enough value for money. My comment would be, it is just okay.

First visit to Deanes, while at the Outlet centre. We thought we would treat ourselves to something a bit better - bad move. At 1155hrs, 6 other customers! my wife asked the waitress what sort of scones they had, plain was the reply, but I will go and check, 3 choices plain, fruit and cherry - hardly mind blowing, I...
