Son and I popped in for breakfast - definitely better to go early before the crowds! Son enjoyed homemade pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. I had healthy breakfast (the chutney served with it is delicious!) and washed down with lovely coffee (and thankful of free top up too). The farm shop has plenty of fresh tempting produce to buy.

This restaurant is very popular and always busy and we have eaten there a number of times in recent years. However each time I leave thinking that the food is entirely average and very overpriced for lunch time. In fact I think the standard of food and slowness of service is getting worse each time we visit. Disappointing overall.

Been here a few times for breakfast. Service, staff and food very good. It's not just a cafe, it's also a great garden center.

Have been here on many occasions and never been disappointed with either the food or the service. The waiting and kitchen staff just seem to cope well no matter how many people come through the doors. The quality of food, whether for breakfast, lunch or tea, is uniformly excellent. That's why I keep returning.

My daughter in law and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at McKees and afterwards had a lengthy browse in the shop. The food was excellent and the service second to none both in the restaurant and the shop. A few young men in particular went to great lengths to ensure we left with everything we needed. Great gift shop, nice... More

I visited McKees several times during the past couple of weeks. The food is heavenly. I came for breakfast, I came for coffee and cake and then came for lunch, all on different days. I have never had such fresh ingredients. Between us we had bacon, wheaten bread, poached eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon and toast. Amazing. Presentation is more like... More

As is our custom to go late each Friday afternoon to McKee's for a coffee to get the weekend started and as usual it didn't dissapoint. The coffee is delicious, caramel latte is the best I've had anywhere - thank you James! But for me the BIG things that matter are the quality of the food and the staff. If... More

Myself and a companion had a lovely lunch here today. They don't accept bookings so we had to wait a while for a table. The views from the restaurant are simply stunning of the county Down coast, Scrabo Tower and Strangford Lough. However the wait is worth it as the food is of a good quality and good value for... One of the best steaks I've ever had. Absolutely melted in the mouth. The goats cheese starter was excellent too. Great value and service too. Highly recommended.
