Somewhere A Little Differant

It's not really a restaurant but a Cafe, it has an extensive menu that caters for all tastes. We only originally visited for coffee and scones but feeling peckish I decided to have the scampi which was nice, we also had the scones and sandwiches which were all very fresh and tasty. When we... read more

The disabled toilet was very small and when the wheelchair was squeezed inside the door still would not close. The toilet was also in a terrible state and the bars were rusted. Whenever I... More

Had breakfast here one Saturday morning. Did not find the food to be good value. My husband had a fry which was not worth the money. A bit disappointing.

I have been here many times and I cannot fault the food, fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. However I do feel that the experience differs depending on the staff, at times you may wait up to 20 minutes to be seated even when there are clearly tables and it always seems to be the same staff on these days. No... More

Great choice of home made food. Keenly priced and very well presented. Friendly staff. You might have to wait for a table but it is well worth it. Packed every lunchtime so go before noon and hopefully you will get a table quickly.

My parents were celebrating 55 years of marriage & chose to celebrate with lunch in McKee's. We had a wonderful lunch of well cooked, delicious & beautifully presented food. Mum really enjoyed her gammon, served with champ & fresh veg, while Dad & I enjoyed the freshly cooked battered haddock & chunky chips. Mum & I then shared a delicious... More
