My wife, our ancient venerable Lab and I visited this the bar recently in the early evening. Lovely old world ambience, polite efficient service, reasonable prices. Dogs are especially welcomed and ours was photographed for their doggy album and Facebook page: he was petted by everyone, and given bowls of water (with ice). This bar was one of the nicest... More

If you want a few drinks in a traditional Northern Irish bar with plenty of atmosphere and craic this is the place for you. The live music was fantastic and the bar staff were very entertaining. Willie the bar manager made the night!

Just left this establishment after waiting for 2 hrs for a meal which never happened.I was told it could take up to an hour and a half but what infuriated me was tables booked after mine being called from 15 mins after we arrived. A family beside us also left after 90 mins obviously realising they weren't going to be... More

Thanks to Trip Advisor I found this gem on my last visit to Portrush. Called in without a booking so had to wait for a few minutes but it was well worth it. The wine bar itself is somewhat eclectic (in a really good way), the atmosphere is warn and friendly and the food of a very high standard. Seafood... More

This little gem doesn't look much from outside but hey what an atmosphere? Decided to eat in restaurant upstairs as I know this establishment wins awards every year in the the Northern Ireland pub of the year competition. We weren't disappointed - a roaring furnace turning out sizzling steaks, spare ribs etc.,desserts like I have never seen before and all... More

Visited July 21, 2013 Stopped here for drinks after dinner in Portrush. To be honest we stopped because my girlfriends favorite pro golfer lists this bar as his world wide favorite. Had a Guinness and a cider and had to sit outside because it was very very busy inside. A great view (like all of Portrush) and we made a... More

The experience of having a few pints of Guinness in this bar is one I will take with me everywhere I go. I recall often the memories of this bar, the very amusing owner, his stories, great Guinness and whiskey. If I get a chance to visit Ireland again, I know that Portrush and the Harbour Bar will be on... More

Great restaurant. Great set up. A different system of dining. No reservations, wait in a holding area till number called. Order and pay before you eat. Food was divine, reasonably priced. Side dishes were scrumptious. Incredibly busy and well organised. Hats off to the owners. Ye have it sussed!!
