Good food, great value for money, friendly atmosphere. Only criticism it's inclined to be noisy - difficult to have a conversation!

Popped into the harbour bar for a pint of the black stuff (Guinness). The bar itself is tiny. It was wedged but we pushed through and found a little room behind the bar. Because it had no view of the match on the tv we got seats. The atmosphere was great. Everyone went quiet when the rugby team was kicking... More

This place was recommended to us by several different people. You will not be disappointed nor will you be Hungary for quite a while after. Great value, we enjoyed so much we went back a second night and did not mind at all the hour and a half wait for a table which says it all.

After a long walk on the beach on a beautiful autumn afternoon we headed into the Harbour Bar and had a few Guinness by the always glowing fire and a bit of craic with the equally glowing Willie. Then it was into the Bistro for a bite to eat. We both had lamb from the wood burning grill - delicious.... More

This is my first time posting on Tripadvisor, but I feel compelled. We came here on a Sunday night (recommended by our hotel) and had a great dinner at the adjoining restaurant. However, the best part was getting drinks afterwards at the Harbour Bar, especially because of the operator, William. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and the staff made it... More

This is my 5 year olds favourite restaurant and he tells everyone about the Harbour bistro with wood burning grill. We visit Portrush at least 5 times a year and try and get to Harbour on each visit. The menu is great and my husband always orders the fillet steak which is Devine and I can highly recommend the pasta... More

We were just in the small old Irish bar, not rough room to swing a cat but we went into the snug that had a large fire and was very cosy. This place is ideal for a few pints of Guinness and a chat. Much better that new trendy bars!
