Well what can I say......except Willie, Willie, Willie. Great entertainment and Willie as the barman keeps eveyone on their toes. Great atmosphere and the up close and personal position of tables lends itself to group discussions. A great way to meet the locals. Overnight visit on our travels from Australia. Met Sebastian from Germany on his travels and helped Willie... More

I'd recommend arriving just as they open to guarantee a table as it gets busy. Food Is delicious and the deserts even more so with you never leaving hungry. Only slight problem is that all the tables are pretty close together so you don't get a lot of room but it's still worth the drive from Belfast.

We had a memorable night last Sunday in the bar. Great atomsphere largely due the irrepressible Willy. What a man. What a barman. Thank you for creating fab memories for me and my dear friend from England. Fav bar in the World. Rev Andrew

Seriously, check this out daph, this is the ultimate DB's... -6 outside, but as you ascend the stairs to the Harbour Live lounge, it gets warmer and warmer,,, 2 x open log fires, plenty of seats, plenty of space (it;s winter, so no trailer folk in), 17 cocktails, 6 pints and a G&T... On yes, almost forgot, a glorified karaoke... More

I've worked in bars all my life, in Ireland and New York, so I've seen a few and without a shadow of a doubt I've just had the best night out!! The guys in The Harbour Bar are so friendly and up for craic. The music was fantastic and the general atmosphere was welcoming and electric, it was almost like... More

Without a doubt this is the best bar in Northern Ireland. Hell maybe in Ireland! From the moment you step inside the front door you will be met with a very warm welcome from host, and local legend, Willie Gregg. Nothing is too big or too much trouble for Willie, who genuinely wants to make you feel at home- his... More

The Harbour Bar is one of Northern Ireland's little gems. So much so that it can be difficult to get in as it is a small bar and very popular. Nevertheless we managed to get in a get bar stools and had a few great 'pints of the black stuff' for which the bar is renowned.

What a fantastic authentic Irish Bar. The owner joins in the fun with a band playing small surrounding great Guiness. No closing hour just when the last leaves the door is shut. Brilliant atmosphere and top pub!!!!

Good food, great value for money, friendly atmosphere. Only criticism it's inclined to be noisy - difficult to have a conversation!
