Fell upon this lovely family Italian Restaurant after being told there was a 2 hour wait at other 'trendy' places. Had a fabulous Chicken and Mediterranean vegetable tagliatelli special which was delicious!!! Lovely genuine atmosphere, great wine selection.

Ordered four pizzas and they were awful. Dry and flavourless. Portrush has many great places to eat, this place is not one of them.

Lovely food, reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly. Good atmosphere. We really missed this place when it was closed for a time, great to see it open again.

A group of 12 of us were lucky enough to get booked in here during the NW weekend, a great table had been set up for us and we were given a very warm welcome from all the staff, even though the restaurant was very busy we were very well looked after, the staff were very attentive without being overbearing.... Glad this place is back open again. Had the early bird menu which is excellent value at £10 for 3 courses. Will have more time to sample the main menu next time.

Selected this restaurant because it looked good from the outside. We went for the budget menu but budget shouldn't mean bad. The chick-a-leekie was meant to come with a cheese and leek sauce, unfortunately there was no sauce and apparently the chef couldn't make one. We ended up with overcooked chicken breast with melted cheese. We asked for 2 tiramisu... More

Visited the reopened Don Giovannis after a year when it was closed down and turned into a Bistro, lovely to see it freshened up on the interior and back after a much missed year in our case serving all the old favourites. As it used to be service was very good and courses were well timed and very tasty and... More

Had a lovely meal here with my other half, lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. We booked to ensure a table as we'd heard it can be difficult to get a table. Both of us having Mussels for starters - delicious Pasta dish for main - sauce was rich and yummy but pasta was 100% dried (just what you'd make... More

This was our first visit to Don Giovannis even though we have walked past it many times and always liked the look of it through the window. The restaurant is lovely and comfortable and the waitress very attentive, the food was good value and tasty, just right for the bargain price, 3 courses for £10 is excellent value!
