Nice wee Italian

Had a lovely meal here with my other half, lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. We booked to ensure a table as we'd heard it can be difficult to get a table. Both of us having Mussels for starters - delicious Pasta dish for main - sauce was rich and yummy but pasta was 100% dried (just... read more

Selected this restaurant because it looked good from the outside. We went for the budget menu but budget shouldn't mean bad. The chick-a-leekie was meant to come with a cheese and leek sauce, unfortunately there was no sauce and apparently the chef couldn't make one. We ended up with overcooked chicken breast with melted cheese. We asked for 2 tiramisu... More

Visited the reopened Don Giovannis after a year when it was closed down and turned into a Bistro, lovely to see it freshened up on the interior and back after a much missed year in our case serving all the old favourites. As it used to be service was very good and courses were well timed and very tasty and... More

This was our first visit to Don Giovannis even though we have walked past it many times and always liked the look of it through the window. The restaurant is lovely and comfortable and the waitress very attentive, the food was good value and tasty, just right for the bargain price, 3 courses for £10 is excellent value!

Having recently reopened after a face lift I can recommend Don Gio's. The food was excellent and the service friendly and prompt. One of our party is a particular aficionado of cheese cake and was moved to say it was the best cheesecake she has ever had. Samantha E's comment on the Bolognese about sums it up. A really good... Visited July 21, 2013 Having traveled all day (missed a flight out of London), train Belfast to Portrush, hauled luggage through Portrush, this was where we decided to eat dinner our first night in Northern Ireland. The title really says it all. The food was of standard pasta quality but nothing special. This was the first and only time in... More

We went there because it was recommended by this web site and unfortunately I was very disappointed. When we entered I wanted to leave because it stank! I'm very sorry to say but it did and design of the place was horrible. My boyfriend was hungry so we stayed. Food was expensive, I paid 15 L for a burnt and... More

We had the salmon with spinach, fresh green beans and a salad. We were pleasantly stuffed and enjoyed the great service.
