Called in to Upstairs at Joes for dinner this evening and i have to say this is one of the best meals i have tasted. Great selection of food and especially seafood and all fresh local produce. The staff where also second to none and cannot fault this place at all. If you are ever in the area please do... More

This was the first time I visited this restaurant and I will definitely be back. The menu was great, I loved the variety, something for everyone young and old. We had a great meal in a relaxed setting with friendly helpful staff, happy to help with recommendations on wine. I have recommended Upstairs @Joe's to several of my friends and... More

This is one of the best meals I've ever had in a restaurant. Delicious food beautifully cooked and presented. A very affordable wine list too. If you're thinking of having a dessert go ahead - they're great too, but you won't need one each unless you're exceptionally hungry. We were only in Ireland for the week and ate here twice.... More

We didn't expect this to be anywhere near as good as it was. Great value for money, good food with imaginative dishes and very good friendly service. We loved it !

As cushendall restaurants go, you're trying to pick which is the least vile and won't leave you needing a mortgage after an awful meal. Potluck ended in Joes and was so pleasantly surprised! I hadn't been in a few years and was astonished at how good it had got. Had a lovely meal, really good and personalised service. Will certainly... More

We were expecting a quick run-of-the-mill meal, but found a really interesting menu with some absolutely delicious mixtures of flavours that worked exceptionally well. I highly recommend the steak medallions with fish and Hollandaise sauce. The kids menu too was fantastic, with large portions and the same food as the main menu, not by any means just your usual chicken... More

I had family staying with me for a couple of days and I wanted someplace nice to take them. There was seven adults and we all really enjoyed an excellent meal. The service was excellent , first class pleasant service on what was a busy night. I would certainly return and I would recommend it.

Called in on the way back to the ferry at Larne. Food was superb, couldn't fault it, the menu isn't run of the mill, the chef had put real effort into designing it. Even the children's menu was the usual sausage and beans, it had duck on it

Lunch was delicious. I had salmon and my husband ling. Both dishes were well cooked and served in good sized portions. This was the best meal we had whilst staying in Cushendall. Would definitely return.

By far the best meal we had in Cushendall. Quaint bar downstairs and modern restaurant upstairs serving a wide range of very tasty dishes. Service was excellent, particularly considering it was a busy night.
