We popped into the Wee Cottage following a trip around Dunluce Castle. This is basically a one room enterprise, serving the tastiest sandwiches we found on the North Coast! Plus beautiful tray bakes / cakes! The staff were very friendly - it felt like you were really just part of the family dropping in for lunch! Definitely a find!

We stumbled in from a very blowy attempt to look at Dunluce Castle and stepped into what looked like a cross between someones front room with cosy sofas in front of the fire place, and a mother and toddler outing with tables full of mums and babies. On the sofas were four musicians jamming away every now and again. We... More

We stopped here for lunch thinking it was a normal little cafe. How wrong were we???? You walk in through the doorway, past a few tacky souvenirs and come to a tiny counter. There are a wide variety of traybakes and cakes. The menu is small but when we asked for soup, there were three types available. I had the... More

This was one of the worst experiences of my life. not enough space inside, terribly decorated, took forever to take our order and we were the only ones in and the price was outrageous and we were given no receipt. She took forever to bring us our order and while she made it the profanities from the kitchen were unbelievable... More

Avril feeds your stomach and your soul. Fantastic end to black taxi tour with Tom. Scones are out of this world. Super gift shop too. A little gem in Northern Ireland

The Wee Cottage was recommended by a family on our campsite and how pleased were we (2 couples) to have followed their advice. A quirky but homely cottage tea room ,settees in front of the fireplace, photos on the sideboard and 8 or so tables with higher chairs. As we arrived the owner told us the scones were just out... Paddy also took us to this quaint restaurant where Avril, the owner, runs the show. She is something else! Not only was the food divine, but we were treated to some special scones -- best I've ever tasted. The place is a treasure.

Thanks to Paddy Campbell, we had the opportunity to stop at the Wee Cottage for lunch. While the atmosphere is very charming and would be a great experience all on its own, the food was absolutely fantastic. We did not expect to find the world's best scones here but indeed we did! Our lunch here will be one of those... More

Visited July 22, 2013 This beautiful, very Irish cottage was found by accident when we needed a snack after visited Dunluce Castle. I didnt note the hours for this little restaurant but I have to assume that they cater almost totally to the Dunluce Castle crowd as it is the only building down the road. They have a variety of... We decided to try this place as brother and nephews were at the castle, it seemed like a good place to rest at. The staff were very welcoming and the place is wonderful plenty to look at and you feel like you are in someones home. My mum and i decided to share a slice of cake and it was... More
