My husband, seven year old daughter and I discovered Wee Cottage after visiting Dunluce Castle. What a little treat! We sat on the sofas in front of the turf fire and loved taking in all the photos and ornaments displayed. It really felt like we were sitting in someone's living room - so homely and cosy. We had coffee and... More

A favourite and never disappointing. I visited before the Giro d'Italia was to pass through. Great service and fresh scones. Right beside Dunluce Castle which is always a must see for visitors.

We came upon the Wee Cottage by accident and almost didn't notice it was a tea room! What a lovely quirky place. So welcoming and friendly and good value to boot. I spotted the oh so tempting scones on another table and asked could we have some too. Mouthwatering they were- light home baked with huge scoops of fresh cream... More

Cold wet and hungry after touring Dunluce Castle ( a recommended visit) my wife and I stumbled into this warm and cozy tea room/cottage. Avil ( the owner ) made us feel so welcome. Lunch was fantastic. All from scratch. The tea, sandwiches, and deserts. What a treat! On all trips there is always a surprise site. For me, this... More

Wee Cottage is a lovely oasis on the Causeway Coastal Route. Avril's scones are the best I've ever eaten. Surpassed only by her gracious hospitality. We had a great cup of coffee, sat by the fire, a nice break on our trip to Dunluce Castle.

We stopped over the Wee Cottage which was right across the Dunluce Castle. We all had hot chocolate with marshmallows. The place was nice and cozy. They had a fireplace with a huge black cat sitting there. They have us homemade scones with jam and cream. Best scones I've had in a long time!

Oh my. If you are going to treat yourself, do it here. Charming, and scones worth waiting for. Try the caramel slice on the way out, you won't regret.

I visited on St.Patricks day after visiting Dunluce Castle. The cottage has a quirky charm, with a burning fire, a cat and a lot of ornaments! Unfortunately the entrance door remains open at all times, so the cafe is freezing cold- in spite of the fire! Keep your coats on! Nice scones, with cream and strawberries and tea is served... More

We stopped off here at the recommendation of our taxi driver. What a delight, we arrived in a downpour to be met by Avril who ushered us in to a table by a glowing coal fire. The friendly welcome only lead onto a delicious bowls of homemade soup and bacon sandwiches. This was rounded of with fresh fruit & cream... More

What a hidden gem, go here every time we go up to the coast. Friendliest and cosiest of places, real food, real fire, real friendly. Not to be missed for a bit of laid back. Avril the owner is really friendly, and her wee bit of cake are from from wee. Paul+lu, cork
