Been to the windrose numerous times before and have been pleased with the food. However on this one occasion the food was extremely poor and overcooked. My girlfriend who ordered the goujons couldnt get a fork into them or bite through them. Didn't want to make a scene as there was a large party in so messaged the windrose during... More

I go here on a regular basis with friends and the food has never been bad. It is one of those places where you know you are going to come away feeling happy and full up, would recommend.

We went to the Windrose to see in 2014 and it was quite nice actually. I never saw Jerry Lang jumping on tables. The place was full as in all the tables were full. We had dinner and it was good. The live band was downstairs at the Bistro. I noticed that some including the younger crowd headed down there... More

The views over The Marina and Belfast Lough are incredible it was so relaxing. The service was first class, the young waiter and waitress were so attentive even coming across to ask if we needed any more gravy brought... More

This is my fourth visit to Carrick, and my first here. It's kinda on the outskirts and I never noticed it before, until I went for a walk this morning. My first impression was that it's a cross between TGI Fridays and Bennigans, and I'd imagine the ladies love it. Very relaxed and laid back, with the emphasis more on... More

We went done for an early evening family meal at about 6.30pm. we were given two menus the evening one, a la carte and the early bird, order before 7.00pm. This was a reduced choice menu priced very reasonably - three courses were approx. £13, two were£10-11 and mains were just £7. We opted for that all four of us... More

Some relatives treated us to lunch here, to be honest was totally surprised because in previous trips home didn't know it existed. The lunch specials were generous and good quality food. For example the haddock and chips. Service was good, and the views to the marina very pleasant.
