We had been here several times before and were eagerly anticipating this visit. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Choices for gluten-free were very limited, and the menu was less varied than we remembered. Our food was tasty but we felt the choice could have been better.

Have eaten in this restaurant many times overlooking the marina and Belfast Lough. The food and service has always been excellent and would highly recommend a visit.

I have been here for many occasions and always found the food to be of a good standard, lovely setting beside the marina especially on a sunny day.

We got married in October 2013 and had our reception at the Windrose. The wedding organiser Maxine was brilliant, she sorted out everything we wanted, all round Maxine and the Windrose staff made our wedding perfect! we had 120 guests and there wasnt one complaint, the food was delicious the service excellent. we would definately reccommend the Windrose!!!!

Had dinner tonight at Windrose. Food was ok. I had ribs-did not receive anything to clean my fingers. Hubby had steak and son had Seabase. Service was poor even though it was not busy. Had to wait a good 15 minutes for sweet menu and another 20 minutes for pudding. Would not be rushing back.

We went along on a Saturday late afternoon, a good spot to watch the rugby in the downstairs bar/bistro. We had booked a table for 7.30, but went in early around 5pm to catch the rugby and have a few drinks before dinner. A funeral party were in and were in good spirits....however by the time we left at 9pm... More
