Slow service but excellent food

First time here & I had heard some mixed feelings saying the food was hit & miss. The only real issue we had was the slow service. It took almost an hour to be served our mains! However, the food was delicious. One of us had ordered garlic fries but were served plain ones. This was rectified... read more

a bit disappointed with the the service and the food. Table booked for 6pm, waited 45 mins for our starters, I got 3 small air filled feta fritters with lots of sliced, diced and halved tomatoes, my friend got the pate, which she could've poured onto her toast, but she said it tasted nice enough, I ordered the silverside roast,... Arrived without reservation on a busy Friday evening. Wait in bar area for a table spoiled by unnecessary loud music Making conversation difficult. Worth the wait though - food was excellent. Great view of Marina. Staff excellent.

Went here during the week and had a meal at the bar overlooking the marina. The short beef rib for the starter was beautiful and would definitely have again, whilst the works burger was more than enough food. Now, originally I wanted to have a meal in the restaurant upstairs but it appears that it's not open during the week.

Fantastic restaurant with a good choice of beers along with a great early bird menu. My wife had a chicken burger and I had a beer burger. Both meals were fantastic and freshly cooked. The staff and what seemed to be the manageress were very friendly and attentive without being annoying (something that is hard to find). Will definitely be... More
