We were staying in Strabane for a few days for work and chanced across this fabulous restaurant , much to our relief . They offer a High Tea menu from 5 pm which suited us perfectly. And what a menu.... We choose a starter of seafood chowder , my husband had sirloin steak to follow while I had naturally smoked... More

What a spot, quality of food and hospitality is second to none. The best place to eat in the whole north west. Very seasonal menus too with local game dishes always on offer.

8 friends availed of our late Christmas meal in Oysters last night and we were very impressed with the food. I had seafood chowder to start, followed by a 10oz sirloin steak with a clonakielty black pudding and sauteed onion topping, saute mushrooms and sauteed potatoes, a cherry topped rave with cream and mango ice cream for dessert, finished off... Dear reviewer, Your review is most gratefully received. Thank you. I would concur that the timeframe from start to finish of your meal is indeed longer than we would find acceptable. We have reviewed same with our kitchen team in order to ensure that it does not recur. I hope that it has not marred your experience of Oysters too... More

A top class restaurant worth all the awards it has presented on its walls. Everything from the welcome, service and food was excellent. Great selection of locally produced foods and a good choice of wines to compliment.

Having lived in Strabane for so many years it has taken me 8 years of living in England to finally get around to eating here- and I probably will EVERYTIME I'm home again. On a quiet Thursday night my wife and I have had a fine dining meal that I didn't know strabane was capable of. The place itself is... More

We just stopped at Oysters travelling through Strabane to Donegal on the off chance of a nice lunch and we were not disappointed. Simple, tasty, well made food enjoyed with a glass of wine and although I cant remember the price we were shocked at how cheap it was for the quality. The waiter/owner was courteous, professional and amicable. It... More

The food was excellently prepared and presented. The taste and flavours were of the highest quality. Staff went out of their way to facilitate my gluten-free diet. The atmosphere was very pleasant and added to a wonderful evening.

I recently visited Oysters for the first time as a party of four. We ordered two courses each and wine and from start to finish, each and every dish of food was prepared and cooked immaculately. The attention to detail from the owner, Kevin, was superb, as you would expect from an award-winning restaurant. A truly great eatery and one... More
