We had been out exploring and found ourselves looking for a decent place to eat in this small town south of Derry where everything seemed to be closed tight as a drum. When we spotted Oysters, we breathed a sigh of relief.... This lovely restaurant turned out to be a sweet spot... elegant decor, quiet ambience, a great menu and... More

Oysters has become the regular location for celebrating special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries or maybe even just that wee treat) for my family and I and it has always been excellent. Last night was no different. It was faultless throughout. Every bite was to be savoured. Everyone at the table tried a different dish but all feedback was the same, delicious!... More

Definitely not disappointed. Starters and mains were top class food. We were both a little underwhelmed with the desserts. I had the duck to start which was delicious but not a working mans portion by any means followed by the surf and turf which I had asked to be closer to rare than medium. It was however well done but... More

Had the high tea menu the other night . Excellent value for money and beautiful food. The service in oysters is impeccable and the other establishments in town could take lessons in customer care from oysters .

My friend and myself decided to treat ourselves to lunch today. Usually go to Murphys but decided to go to Oysters for a change .Greeted by a wairess with unkempt hair, no make up and sleeves down over her hands. Shown to a seat in the corner, one one other customer in the restaurant. Five more people who arrived it... More

I deliberated purposely on responding to this review due to the vindictive nature of it, feeling that it was not worthy of a response. However, after consideration, I felt the reality of the situation did merit a response. The two girls involved visited the restaurant, were the first into the dining room and seated accordingly. A party of 5 followed... More

Put simply it is easy to see why this is a multi award winning restaurant. The food was fantastically delicious and the staff are very professional and yet still remain friendly and helpful. It should be the first port of call for anyone thinking of eating out in Strabane or the surrounding areas. It was an unplanned lunch we had... More

Was back in Strabane visiting family and managed a night out in Oysters with my wife. The food we got was great, I could not fault a thing, and the staff were very attentive. It was a lovely night.

Spotted Oysters out of the corner of my eye as we were seeking a meal in Strabane on our journey. This place was a real find! We opted just to have main courses with sides and both chose salmon, market veg and garlic potatoes. The tomato and chilli bread was toasted and tasty, and nice when we were not having... More
