Dear Reviewer, Thank you for taking the time out to review us so positively. We opt as a principle at Oysters to source our produce locally to guarantee fresh, quality food at table. We also make all our own breads, desserts, gravies, dressings, etc. in house, all of which costs a little more to prepare. I appreciate that you have... More

My wife Valerie and I ate lunch at the restaurant on Tuesday afternoon around 3pm. I asked the owner what he might recommend and he suggested the fish. Very fresh and delicious! He helped provide us with a place to stop for lunch on our way back to Madrid. Very good spot and the owner and were really nice folks.... More

Visited Oysters for the first time last weekend and I can't compliment the place enough. From start to finish it was one of the most relaxed and enjoyable experiences I've had in a long time. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and the food is second to none. I had the lamb dish, it was cooked to perfection and... More

Fantastic restaurant, well worth a visit if in the area. Welcomed into the small lounge area on arrival and offered a drink from the bar from the moment I stepped in, then as the members of my group arrived we had our order taken and shortly after led to the dining area. There was a small free Sorbe appetiser to... More

My husband and I weren't so sure about the restaurant when we first stepped in. It was fairly empty and we were seated at the front sitting area and given menus. For a few minutes my husband and I thought they wouldn't seat us in the dining area because we weren't dressed fancy...which felt uncomfortable. But that was just how... More

Dear Reviewer, I remember your visit to the restaurant and it was a real pleasure making your acquaintance. I'm sorry you felt a little confused about our welcoming procedures. A lot of Irish restaurants have a reception area wherein customers are greeted and invited to relax before proceeding to their dining table (whilst their food is being prepared). I am... More

We had a fantastic evening in Oysters, the food was excellent, the service was outstanding and the occasion was a complete success thanks to Kevin and his staff. 27 guests were catered for in an almost family atmosphere and we will certainly return.

AMAZING FOOD, A WARM WELCOME, EXCELLENT SERVICE, FABULOUS AMBIENCE! A friend and I visited Oysters Restaurant this week for lunch. This highly popular restaurant is located in Strabane, which nestles on the Tyrone/Donegal border. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the charming owner and manager, Kevin Clarke. Kevin works front of house and is extremely attentive yet unobtrusive throughout... More
