Always stunning food in this place, whatever I have had it has always been beautiful, homemade cakes, the scones are gorgeous, different specials every day and lots of lovely dessert choices! If you haven't visited it's a must, plus staff are also lovely.

We recently visited this restaurant on a day out in Carmarthen. It was a little out of the way but well worth the effort to find. We were served promptly by friendly and helpful staff. The food was gorgeous. I had the lasagne and my partner had the chicken and leek pie. Both were well made with good quality and... More

I came here for a meal with my husband and enjoyed. The food is homemade and tastes wonderful and the portion sizes are massive! The only downfall is you pay more as I guess you get what you pay for. Nice to do on special occasions but I couldn't afford to do it more than that. Overall lovely place to... More

The food here is fantastic. This is a hidden Gem but once found it will be your favourite place forever. The staff are all great too.

I had never been before and wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. I had the salmon in cream sauce with curly fries. The salmon was gorgeous and the whole meal was lovely. Great portion of curly fries too :) didn't have room for pudding but they looked amazing! Will be back

From their hearty breakfasts to nice freshly-cooked main meals, I've never been let down by Caban. It's quite hidden away in Mansel St, and the exterior implies a small traditional café but inside it is cavernous and goes on and on in a series of eating chambers! The portions are always impressive, and there are a variety of meals and... More

We were looking for somewhere to go for lunch on Sunday, my mother in law said to try the Caban y Dderwen, what a meal, excellent portions, plenty of meat, fresh veg,a desert to die for and really friendly service. This will be my regular Sunday lunch spot from now on, I would say the one of the best Sunday... More

I visited this place with my husband and the atmosphere was calm and quaint. I had the scampi & chips and the portions were huge, lovely curly fries and absolutely milkshakes. Would visit again if I were to visit Carmarthen.
