Nice meal and atmosphere

Enjoyed a steak main course and chocolate tart pudding here tonight. We booked a table for 7.30 but the restaurant was quite quiet. Food was good - maybe a tad expensive but really enjoyed

Food was good and pleasent staff. Service could have been better as we had to order drinks twice at the bar.

Found this gem after travelling all day and it was GREAT!! We arrived at 6pm without booking and we're lucky to have a fantastic host who squeezed us in. We ordered from the extensive menus and the they were brilliant and accommodating. The food turned up quickly, beautifully presented and piping hot. Huge portions, great value and incredibly tasty. Whether it's a special celebration or a mid week dinner you will find consistently good food, excellent service and a warm welcome at the Butchers in Llanddarog. We were here on Friday night. You can't fault it! Highly recommended! We have been eating here for many a year and will continue to do so.

We often visit The Butchers and always have delicious food with good portions. Service is good, quick, and friendly, and food is good value for money. If you're a meat lover, the mixed grill is infamously good! I like the atmosphere - it's a small cozy pub with homely fixtures and fittings, and everything is nice and clean. The food... More

As with our previous visits, we experienced very good, well-cooked food and a high level of cleanliness, in this cosy traditional pub. The vegetarian menu remains unchanged since my last visit, though there are other veggie foods on the main menu not featured on it, which was confusing. Any courtesy and the usual expectations of service were seriously lacking on... More

Family of 5 had a really lovely meal all clearing our plates. Great value for money, huge portions. The children's portions were huge also. I must say the gammon was the best I've ever tasted.
