We went here for lunch and had the 2 for £12 deal, Chicken curry and a lasagne. The curry appeared to made with a cheap tin or jar sauce but the chicken was off the bone and quite nice. The lasagne was very sad indeed, small portion and lacking taste. On the plus side the chips were home made proper... More

The restaurant itself is lovely. The decor was nice and the staff were very very friendly. We visited as a group of four adults and one Infant. We ordered two beef dinners, one lasagna and one pasta dish. All were quite tasty but it was disappointing that all of them were pre cooked and then heated in the microwave as... More

The food is excellent here and the staff very friendly. It has a lovely homely feel and often enjoy a lunch with friends here.

This is not the Hamilton's I remember. One used to be sure of a very good meal here, albeit never cheap. Not any more. Prices have gone up and quality has gone down.

We had a good value lunch, very tasty. We booked in advance but the seating was very tight although other seating had more room, so if your tall ask for the more roomier tables. Handy for the Queens public house next door.

Have to give this eatery a 10 in every way. Attentive service, great food, realistic pricing and all in a relaxed atmosphere. Each time I visit Carmarthen in the future I will be making a B line for Hamiltons Perfect for families.

Run-of-the-mill food. However, the addition of hair in one of our meals was just revolting. In desperate need of a lick of paint & the taped carpet did nothing to add the poor ambience. On the plus side the service was good, with no arguments about the unwanted freebie.

Just arrived home from a group meal at Hamilton's. A variety of meals were ordered and were promptly and perfectly cooked and served. Mine was gammon with a pineapple and or egg, peas, tomato and lettuce, with a choice of jacket potato, chips, or new potatoes, and all for £9.95. Sorry no room for dessert. A glass of house wine... Visited recently at lunch time, food and service were both very good and very reasonably priced. Only negative comment would be .. Access to tables not great for disabled guests with walking difficulties due to steps or wheelchair users.
