Passing through Skipton with my daughters aged 11 & 9, the eldest picked this place for some lunch and she ordered the Toulouse sausage baguette, I had the croque Madame and youngest the fish fingers! All were great! The sausage baguette was huge and really tasty! Served with a lovely dressed salad. The room and decor are typically French and... More

We have been promising ourselves Sunday lunch at Le Bistro des Amis for some time but for one reason or another, we never get there. Yesterday we made it and were glad we did. There was a choice of either beef or pork both of which comes from local farms and Skipton Butcher - Drake and Macefields in Otley Street.... More

Just eaten a lovely Sunday Lunch here. The menu was HUGE . I chose local yorkshire pork with all the trimmings and it was delicious. My husband had Calves Liver which he really enjoyed. Would recommend this restaurant.

A party of 30 for Sunday Lunch (late 3.30pm). Staff and service superb. We did not have to pre-order and were also able to add one or two more choices to the already extensive menu. Kitchen coped admirably and we did not have a long wait for starters. Quality of food excellent.

We booked a table for 4 for Sunday lunch, we had been before but for dinner mid week. The Sunday lunch menu was excellent and very good value, lots of choice, but if you didn't want Sunday lunch you could also choose from the standard menu too, plus a specials menu. The quality of the food was excellent and everything... More

Went for the evening early bird menu with friends. Le Bistro is one of the best places to dine in Skipton. The early bird menu can be limited at times depending on your likes and dislikes but offers a range that should suit most people. The food is presented wonderfully and the staff are attentive but not intrusive. The atmosphere... More

3 visits in the past 2 weeks and another reservation booked for 25 July. The ambience, the welcome, the pleasant serving staff all contribute to enhance the whole dining experience at Le Bistro. The food is delicious, well cooked, beautifully presented. What a gem, French cuisine enjoyed in Yorkshire.
