Any person rating less than ***** is a floundering lack of beer knowledge idiot For a second forget the beer and the way they look after it's condition. In the past - excellent food. Great ambience, chatty staff intelligent and recomending of beer when your taste is known. In other words - perfect hosts.. so what more do you want... More

Great choice of hand pulled beers at this busy friendly pub, tucked away but well worth finding, nice place to go with friends.

Maybe we just made a bad choice on food, cant fault the beer. The question I always ask is would I go back ? Hell yes, but maybe not eat there.

Now, I love pie and mash. Not so keen on the 'pie in a pot' as it seems a bit lazy. The Narrow Boat serves a SLICE of pie! Go for the chicken or beef and you will keep coming back. The bar staff will know what you are going to order just by the look on your face! Bit... More
