Lovely pub, friendly staff it is always busy which shows how popular it is. As a smoker I particularly love the warm outside area!

Absolutely excellent establishment. My friends and I have had a whale of a time. If you ever stumble upon this gem of a pub in lancashire - ask for Ben Cropper. The man is a hero!!

This pub serves great beer and an excellent Sunday lunch. Every bit of it was tasty and done to perfection. Could it be better than the Narrow Boat's Sunday lunch? Could be. However, the puddings are a bit sugary and not what you would call 'traditional' puddings. Bit of a shame! Narrow Boat wins for being more complete. We had... More

With so many choices in skipton we opted for hearty pub food, portions were plentiful, well presented and delicious. I would def return to see what else is on their specials board!!

Would highly recommend - good value for money, very friendly helpful staff. Rib eye steak was the best ever tasted. You may have to book as the restaurant is not very big. Good out door facilities

We always call in for something to eat and drink at the Woolly Sheep when we're in Skipton and wouldn't go anywhere else. We find the staff are always very friendly. If you arrive early on a lunchtime it's nice to sit in the front by the window on market day and watch the world go by in front of... More

Five of us had lunch at The Woolly Sheep last weekend and we couldn't fault it. Between us we had fish & chips, steak and lamb stew - all were pronounced delicious and the key lime cheesecake to follow was excellent too. If we lived nearer I would be eating here often as there was lots of choice on the... More

I visit the Woolly Sheep regularly for a drink and even though the drinks are slightly expensive (you can get the same for cheaper in many other pubs in Skipton) I love the atmosphere of the Woolly Sheep. There is a lovely outdoor seating area with heaters round the back of the pub, and the inside has a charm to... More
