Great service

Although clearly not having enough customers of late, I am a great believer of trying local establishments and The Dragoon did not disapoint. Booked a family Christmas meal for 8 adults and 2 children and everything was taken care of by excellent staff. A great tasting Christmas 3 course meal... read more

While staying overnight we found this lovely pub very family friendly. There were 10of us altogether on a Saturday night at 6pm but already a large party had reserved a table. The staff soon found us a table and our 4 children sat on a nearby table. We had great service with an attentive batman who took all our orders... More

Went in last night with family of 5 and was really impressed with the quality of food. You could tell everything was homemade and fresh, no brakes reheat in sight. Staff was really friendly and chatty. Lovely to see a village pub getting back on their feet and that's got to be a good show for the current landlord landlady.

Visited on Friday for Fish'n Chips Specials, great value, 2 meals and drinks for under £20! Went Back On Sunday for a Gammon Steak, very nice. The current temporary tenants have made a real effort to keep the place ticking over, and have done a wonderful job. New permanent tenants arrive on 17th and will be honouring bookings made to... Passing on our date nite, fantastic atmosphere and beautiful candles and friendly staff food is lovely and made you feel so welcome, it's a shame they don't get the support from the brewery with no carpet still and a horrible board out the front makes the pub looks shut, it's a shame as the couple in there are so friendly... I've just moved into the area. I walked in with my dog and two boys after a log walk. First time I've been here. The land lady made a real fuss of my kids, bought them out free ice cream and sweets and didn't charge me for the orange squash. Friendliest welcome I've ever experienced. I'll dig innately be back... More

My wife and I just dropped in when detoured off the A14. Despite being busy Gina and Phil made room and we enjoyed an excellent lasagna made by Phil, this was accompanied by a fresh and tasty salad plus a huge portion of chips. We left feeling full and happy. I intend to return soon when in Huntingdon area

The staff were nice enough and it was nice and clean but that's where the compliments end really. The food seemed mostly cooked from frozen bought-in stuff but to be fair the prices reflected that. It was so quiet so there was no atmosphere whatsoever. This was worsened by the fact they play instrumental versions of songs e.g. 'My heart... More
