I loved the food, great standard but hate the old mans bar you have to pass and the tables are very crapped too.

As a lover of Irish pubs and that amazing culture I am saddened by the demise of so many trad pubs. Thank goodness for the Bridge a real Irish pub, warmth, friendliness, hospitality a big fire old local photos. Great food, great staff, you REALLY have to visit.

The Bridge Bar is the best bar in Newry, bar perhaps one - Crozier's, across the street, that has only one toilet - women have to go upstairs through someone's living room AND their bedroom to use the toilet. Only in Newry, folks! The Bridge is old school with a huge open fire and an off-license next door, to boot!... More

We went here after reading reviews on it, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The service was great, ordered sirlion steaks with chips. The food was fabulous and was cooked exactly as ordered. However on the down side it is slightly expensive, but well worth a visit if you feel like treating yourself.

We were visiting Ireland from Seattle, WA, and popped into this pub after a fun day of sight-seeing. We had our two little kids with us (both under the age of 4) and had a fantastic time! We originally thought we would have a pint and then head on, but after being there for our first pint, we didn't want... More

Great atmosphere, very friendly indeed. First time we were in Newry and this restaurant is really worth it to come back. I never eat a sole like this, exceptionally tasty with a delicious presentation. Looking forward to coming back to try the other things on the menu.

Recently dined here during a weekend breat to Northern Ireland from Scotland to celebrate our engagement with some of my fiance's family. There was a great atmosphere and the service was extremely efficient and friendly. The soup was lovely but the duck and noodle spring roll that I was allowed to try a bit of was exceptionally good, something a... More
