This coffee house is now in the old Northern Bank premises in tandragee. I went in this weekend with my son with high expectations. The service was ok, menu limited but I liked the atmosphere, especially liked the fact that there was quiet seating in the vault behind bars where you could talk in private if needed. Unfortunately what causes... More

We had been out for a walk along the Newry Canal Tow Path and found this little cafe by accident.... And what a find! It was late afternoon so we only had coffee and home made tray bakes. Lovely decor and a relaxed atmosphere with comfortable arm chairs to relax in ... much needed after our walk from Scarva! The... More

We love to cycle along the towpath for Newry canal and a trip to this cafe always acts as a good "CARROT" to make sure that I don't wriggle out of some healthy exercise! The coffee is good and we always enjoy the salads. Their pavalova is delicious but I would really welcome some Gluten free options - I would... More

I have visited Fraise & Chocolat a couple of times and it's a friendly, welcoming coffee shop with huge variety of high quality home-made goods and a great supporter of local produce. The staff have always been chatty, courteous and helpful. I have eaten soup, sandwiches and wraps and all have been great, generously filled and tasty. Another commenter said... More

Nice, comfortable settings in the old courthouse. Always enjoy a good cup of coffee with tasty scones/tray bakes. The lunch menu can be limited but this is understandable given that Poyntzpass is a village and passing trade may be limited. Having said that the food & sandwiches have always be enjoyable plus there is ice cream for the kids (young... More

Young waitress had not a clue and kept going to kitchen to ask. we wanted a snack but nothing but paninis and buns to offer. we ordered an Indian tea drink which they were advertising. Surprise surprise the young girl did not know of it. When she asked off course they did not have it.... More

I was out cycling today and came across Fraise et Chocolat. It was warm and friendly, I liked the decor, and the furniture, but most importantly the food and coffee I had was excellent. If you ever go and they have cranberry and orange scones...get one..totally delicious!

I've visited Fraise et Chocolat on a number of occasions and always enjoyed my visit. The food is good, the service is good, the surroundings and the atmosphere are excellent. If you're in this neck of the woods then you couldn't do better in my opinion.
