Nice but a little scatty with service

Lovely atmosphere and nice food. We ordered two food items, one arrived before the other. Had to remind them we had ordered more. Then there was a mix up because the brownie we ordered didn't come as it was stated on the menu. When we queried this they said there was another area where they had... read more

Another huge superb salad! Highly recommend! £22 for 2 big salads full of fresh and interesting ingredients served with Cornish ham and Brie and 2 drinks. Would have preferred more non bread or pastry options though...Please note!

Lunchtime visit for another excellent sandwich in a lovely setting. Best cafe venue we have found in Truro.

First and last visit to this cafe. We arrived at approximately 4pm to be told that they were only serving drinks and cakes at that hr. Fair enough- no problem with that. We chose a small latte, small americano, a slice of carrot cake and lemon drizzle cake. Nearly £11! Have been served many times bigger portions for less price.... More

Our 2nd visit here having first been last year on a visit to Truro. We remembered the fruit scones , cream tea being particularly good and sure enough they were again. The adjacent museum and art gallery are worth a visit too but if you want a tea or coffee and cake in pleasant surroundings this is a good place... More

Stopped here for a coffee & a cake whilst wondering around town. Great tasting coffee and the best fruit scone in Truro! Came here last year too - great relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff.

Come here quite a bit for lunch or coffee as I especially like their salad selection. The staff could do with being a bit more happy in their work, I notice quite a few other people have noted this, so it's not just me! Ideal to come when using park & ride as you get a discount when you show... More

my wife and sat outside in the sun to share a "deli platter". It came with one slice of thin brown bread. I asked for some more and was charged £1 for one slice!! It's in a lovely position in the centre of Truro. Perhaps they should forget the other part of the business and just sell bread.

Sorry to have arrived at the end of the lunch period so several dishes were used up but the salads were excellent - full of interesting tastes. Will return - but at 12 noon this time!

very impressed with home made salad selection and home made quiche to die for cheese selection lacked imagination and the the two grapes cut in halve were a bit tight knowing how much these ingredients cost working in a large supermarket.
