Friendly staff. Cosy atmosphere. Quick service. Unfortunately we made a poor choice on menu. Prawn & crab salad, could barely see any crab and certainly couldn't taste it. Far too much lettuce filled the plate.

Unfortunately we didn't eat here as we were booked elsewhere, but menu and food coming out looked excellent. Beautiful 16C pub in Mithian nicely out of the way for it not to be full of passers-by. We sat in the garden on a beautiful sunny warm evening. It looks a real gem and the menu and food looked well worth... More

Yet another fine evening spent at the Miner's Arms - splendid food, great ambience and a very fine French wine and not forgetting the good company. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Hats off to the landlady for superb hospitality yet again. Will be back very soon.

Just had a very good relaxed evening at this pub. Sometime these places can be a bit inhibiting when strangers just turn up, but this is a lovely friendly place. We ate in the bar and the food was excellent and service the same. They allow dogs in the bar. Locals more than happy to engage and recommend local site... More

We was recommended to have dinner at this pub, and was told how good it was and they was right. It was that good we went again the food and service was great, good size portions every time, some nice locals ales as well. Tucked away but well worth finding.

Recently visited on a Sunday without booking. We received a very warm welcome from Anouska into a lovely traditional inn. We were very lucky and managed to get a table for lunch. I ordered the beef and my wife ordered the lamb, both meats were so tender and came with a nice combination of fresh vegetables and a small jug... More

Friendly, lively (not too loud) atmosphere. Very good food. Does get very busy so worth booking to avoid disappointment.

We stumbled across this place by pure accident, and what a find! Super little pub, bucket loads of old world charm, lovely food, dog friendly and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. It'll take some finding, but definitely worth a visit.

Checked reviews on Trip advisor to select a lunch at this pub. Was not disappointed, freshly cooked tasty and served hot! Lovely fresh well cooked veg accompanied a lovely lunch- spicy Thai pumpkin soup to start was delicious, bit on spicey side but delicious! Followed by fish pie with a nice touch of sliced potatoes instead of mash, lovely and... More
