Most acceptable Martini!

Lovely surroundings and a buzz that is difficult to find in sleepy Truro. Great music, and a most acceptable gin martini (from one who knows). Probably the oldest group there that evening, but made to feel welcome.

I went in the evening with a couple of friends for birthday drinks, it was very busy and we shared one of the big tables with another group, we had amazing cocktails and a really lovely night. I would absolutely visit again.

Came here for a random meal out. Fancied tapas so found this little bit of heaven fro trip adviser! The place looked great and had some great music. The staff are all friendly. Etc. all well and good. But now the food!!!! If I died tonight I would die a happy man! The homemade nachos changed my life! And I... More

We went for Sunday lunch and the restaurant was busy and had a good vibe and the food arrived quickly. The Food however really let the place down. I have eaten here before as a party and the tapas style worked well but eating there this time as a couple it was not so good. I asked for the burger... More

Hello Spidersteve Thanks for your review. It is slightly confusing, firstly we dont serve a burger on a Sunday, Sunday is our roast day, and although there are other items on the menu, a burger is not one of them. Secondly I can absolutley guarantee that were not served RAW meat from our kitchen, I find this comment incredibly exaggerated,... More

Came for tapas on Saturday night, although busy we were seen to quickly by the lovely waitress who was fantastic and attentive all night. Food was amazing and unfortunately ordered a bit too much! But everything was very very delicious and good value for money. Visited again on the Sunday for a cappuccino and brownie which was also great -... More

the food is lovely ,the service is good ,the seating outside is good if you can get a table and the cloudy bay white wine is the best wine around but the price tag is heavy b ut worth paying the extra

I visited here with my daughter on a lunchtime visit to Truro. Service was excellent and the food was unique, different and (importantly!) hot. We had a lovely meal in pleasant surroundings and will be definitely visiting again. The pulled pork is to die for!!

Always lively. Great value food, all freshly cooked. Children's favourite desert is "camp fire" - roasted marshmallows at the table with plenty of chocolate to fondue.

Superb value for the most delish food. 8 hungry people from ages 10 to 77 very well fed and full as an egg for £10 per head. The food never fails and offers something for all tastes. We sampled the homemade seasonal blood orange sloe gin cocktail which was as scrumpy as it sounded. Working on a excuse for the... More
