Lunch with friends

What a lovely place to come for a tasty lunch. I had the potatoe and leek soup with focaccia, my friend had the bavette steak sandwich in gabatta with blue cheese and onion marmalade. Gorgeous meal, plenty of it, not cheap but well worth it. Staff were very pleasant and polite. Will pop in again... read more

Set at the top of a hill, just outside of Truro, this inviting restaurant offers a real treat! Their attention to detail is great, although none of it feels over-fussy. The menu has taken good British food and elevated it slightly, but not to the point that is unrecognisable. The feel of the place is really what makes it special,... More

I come here when I want to splash out with good food and cocktails. I am never disappointed. However last time I went on a really sunny day their umbrellas were out so no sunshine in the garden to enjoy. Its so rare for a lush day people want to enjoy it !!!

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere when we called in for lunch. Food was tasty, fresh and good quality. Good value children's menu and a good selection of main dishes

We had a great meal here last week. Good selection of tapas and good value. It's not a place to go and have a nice quiet meal if you're planning a calm catch up with friends. Very much more a place to nibble some tapas and enjoy the wonderful cocktails.

We visited here while on a 4 day break in Cornwall and had a lovely evening. There was so much to choose from and as my partner is pescatarian sometimes there is limited option but here there was a great selection. Everything was delicious including the wine and the staff were really friendly. Really well priced and had a great... More

I recently visited TOGS with friends for a birthday meal. The celebrations kicked off with cocktails which were moderately priced but sophisticated and enjoyable. We decided on ordering a variety of Tapas dishes to share. They were delicious and cooked to perfection; noticeably the squid which was amazing. Overall the food was good quality and very good value for money.... More

Came here for lunch with a family member and ordered straight away, we went for the pulled pork burger and salt beef sandwich ( at £9-10 each )! Food came out lukewarm served on a dirty tray .. Not cool? As the portions were big we both ate half of our sandwiches and decided to take the rest home only... More
