Went to gravy for lunch and the food and service was amazing!! There was a special option as well as many options for lunch special and was just £20 for the three courses!! The starters mains and desserts were all fab and both me and my partner throughly enjoyed them! My partner ordered fish and it was cooked to perfection!!... More

The food was very good and well presented. However this is a restaurant of 2 halves, the main body of the restaurant looked great but we sat by the open kitchen, not so good. I sat on the chair facing the wall lower down than my partner who was perched up on the banquette seating. She had the view of... More

Having just got back from a fantastic meal at Gravy, I can safely say this restaurant is one of the best in Truro. Great presentation, super quality and attentive service. 5 stars a must visit, will be going again

Truro did not seem like the kind of town where we would find gourmet food, but we were so surprised at Gravy Boesti. The pea and crab starter was awesome. We awarded it the 'Best on our Trip to England' award! It sounds strange, but try it. The only problem...the dish was too deep to be licked clean. :) Great... More

Booked here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were both very pleased with that decision! Upon arriving we found an Anniversary card from the staff on the table which was a lovely touch and set the tone for the evening. We were then presented with a complimentary plate of breads whilst we looked over the menu. We were seated opposite... More

Visited late afternoon on Saturday and was not dissapointed, from the moment my partner and I arrived we were made very welcome and the service was very good. The food was lovely and well presented had the goats cheese & apricot terrine and the john dory to start which was faultless, for the main had the lamb and goats cheese... More

Well I know it was only something to nibble before the meal, but I would go back for that alone. The little selection of freshly made breads with oil and balsamic for dipping was even better than Da Bara and Baker Toms. My crabcakes and seared cod were tasty, and so attractively presented. A great place for a business lunch.

Took friends there for a treat - and we got one !! If you are looking for excellent food,a good laid back environment with quick, casual and friendly service then this is the place for you. When the owners are always there, working in the open plan kitchen, and also front of house then you know they care about what... More

Visited with my wife for a birthday 'treat'. We were a bit dissapointed that the restaurant would not live up to the hype, but it did - 3 courses, each excellent, packed full of flavour. Great service from Luke, attentive but not too intrusive. Cannot praise this restaurant highly enough - it isn't cheap, but it is certainly a case... More
