Having returned to Cornwall after many years I was unsure where to eat in the evening. After a short browse online Gravy Boesti stood out so I booked without hesitation. We were not disappointed. After a warm welcome we were seated next to a window and the attentive waiter couldn't be more friendlier or professional. The menu had something for... More

I went here for my birthday meal with my boyfriend and they couldn't have had a better service, our waiter definitely went above and beyond to make our visit excellent. The food was beautiful but rich and portion sizes were reasonable, I will definitely be going back.

Really enjoyed a lunch at Gravy with the brilliant price of just £20 for 3 courses. The presentation of the food was superb, food itself excellent and service spot on. The venue is quite cosy with an open kitchen, which I like, and the atmosphere was just right for a lunchtime. Thoroughly recommended.

I actually found this restaurant on Tripadvisor, hoping to find something better than what is already on offer in Truro and frankly not up to much. My search proved well worth it, to the extent that, to date, this is the best restaurant in which I have eaten lunch in Truro. It is in the city centre but slightly off... More

We had an evening meal here last week. We always eat here at least once when we are on holiday in Cornwall. The service was very good, attentive without being intrusive, and the food was faultless. Highly recommended. The only less than favourable observation that I can make is that the outside eating area at the back of the restaurant... More

Not an easy review this one as I would so much like to say I had a perfect dinner. The service is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is good. However, the food is not perfect, but when it is good, it is really good. For example, the lamb main course was very nearly divine with some great skills on... More

I've visited Gravy a few times over the past year or so and I can't really think of a time where I've not felt rewarded for my efforts. Great food, brilliantly cooked with novel ideas on the menu. The little restaurant doesn't feel cramped and works nicely, with excellent, non-invasive service too. Also a mention for their lunch menu, which... More

Went to Gravy on Wednesday evening after the film. We ordered full courses which are starter, main course and dessert. I had scallop for my starter and special main course then followed by the pineapple and mango desert they all came with absolutely great appearance, very delicious and delicate food preparation, the service was perfect and we don't need to...
