There was a group of five of us that went in and we had booked a table for 8pm. We got given menus and a drinks order was taken however, after that we were not seen to again for quite a while. When we eventually ordered food, we had bread and oils to start and some olives. These took about... More

As a rule, I try to stay away from chain restaurants. Most have sub par "microwave" dinners. Made to cater to the masses. But upon some gentle suggestion from my partner we decided to give it a try. Ask in Truro is quite a "cosy" little restaurant. Nicely decorated and doesn't feel like a chain brand I must say. Greeted... More

My daughter booked a table for 6pm for my grandsons birthday. Very welcoming and swift to seat us. It was a bit of a wait for starters but garlic bread very tasty. Whitebait was a small portion as was the dip hardly enough for all the fish. Main course was so long in coming we didn't have time for a... More

Having read the reviews and spoken to locals we were not going to visit this place. However, after finding the one we had been to before and another closed, we decided to go to Ask. What lovely staff they had on that night Monday 21 July, thank you young ladies, you made my wife and I very happy. The food... More

Staff were pleasant and attentive, but there was a major cock up with the bill (20 ish of us wanting to pay separately) most people had left by the time we were ready to go leaving my brother in law to mop up the dregs of what was owed amounting...
