I am well travelled and it's rare for me to find no fault at all, but if you're looking for attentive friendly service with a smile and excellent food, The Mannings is sure to please all

This restaurant/hotel is very modern and airy. The restaurant is very clean, light and has a pleasant atmosphere. The food is always excellent and changes frequently. Well worth a visit for special occasions as it is not cheap. However, the bar area, though small is very welcoming.

This was our first visit to Mannings. We went on a Sunday evening after seeing a show at Hall for Cornwall. We had not booked but were lucky to get a table for two. First impressions were very good a clean modern well presented establishment. We were attended by Tom who is an excellent front of house guy and is... More

Really looking forward to treating myself . Alone in Truro , so get a quality evening meal. Tempted by the fish goujons . I sat back with a peroni and anticipated my tempura battered fish . 52 minutes later I gave up and went for a subway ... It never came , perhaps they were busy.

Lovely meal here celebrating my husbands birthday. Everything was enjoyable from front of house to the all important food. The food was well presented, served quickly and was delicious! The price was reasonable too! No complaints at all! Will definitely go back and can't believe we've never eaten here before.

Family get together. Starters excellent, main courses excellent, service excellent. My only complaint was the amount of "seasoning" on my steak. I should have requested none as I hate bits of peppercorn leaving an awful aftertaste (this is a personal foible and not representative of the overall meals). Not sure about the last review, can only presume it was a... More

Ordered crispy fish goujons ( a dish I've had a few time before & loved) only to be served anaemic and soggy lumps that a local chippy would be ashamed to serve. We ordered a bottle of Viognier, only to be given a bottle of something Italian. When I complained, I got a £5 voucher. For Mon-Thurs, lunch only, £20... More

Amazing food. Amazing service. The place was busy which created a great atmosphere. Loved it. Will be back. Somewhere if you want something a little special.
