The food was just slightly warm, portions were very small, meat (roast beef) was fatty and Yorkshire pudding over cooked. Sunday lunch isn't too difficult so should be a good consistent standard for the prices charged.

After waiting a very long time for our order to be taken we had to wait even longer for the starters to arrive. When they did one was not what was ordered, and when we asked for more bread although promised it never materialized. The main courses took an eternity to come and only appeared after asking where they were.... More

Beautiful gardens. A refreshing welcome soon turned sour. After ordering our food we waited 40 minutes for our starter. The parfait was good. Not excellent. But not poor. We should've prepared ourselves because from completing our starter we had to wait 2...yes 2 hours for our main roast dinner and chicken in chilli Even the sun had given up by... More

I happened to find this charming pub by chance while searching for nearby eateries and how glad I am that I came across it! Fabulous outside area that we were lucky enough to enjoy with the good weather but inside is just as lovely with the old beams and fireplaces giving it a lovely cosy feel. Out waitress was Lisa,... I arrived on Tuesday 9th September . It was quite busy and as we were sat at our table we was told that there was only one chef on duty. We was unsure of what we would be getting as it was busy . The food came out quickly and very well presented. The taste was and explosion of flavours... More

Have visited here a few times in the last year and have really enjoyed meals, however things appear to be changing there. In May and now again in September many items have been unavailable on the menu. Firstly, to celebrate our Anniversary we went for a meal on a Monday evening. At least a third of the menu was unavailable.... More

Great food served in a classic pub setting that has become a bit of a legend around the area. Set in a picturesque village, the Green Man is always worth a visit, for a light bar snack of a full blown 3 course meal. Occasionally the service can be a bit slow, but that is a testament to their poplarity

Two hour wait for one slice of fatty beef and two potatoes. Did not touch the food and asked for refund, no sign of manager to apologise and did not refund the starters. Awful service, awful food. 3 other tables also complained and did not pay for their meals. Don't waste your time paying this place a visit!

Booked a table for 4 people and when we arrived they hadn't got our booking hadn't even got my name down!....Of course mistakes can happen so we let it pass us by as they said they would have a table ready in a few minutes, they asked us to wait at the bar.... 40 minutes later we were still there...
