Pub with a view

We ate at the griffin last weekend whilst camping in the area. The food, real ales and service were all excellent. The only critism is the lack of options for vegetarians, if your not keen on fish then there was only 1 option on the menu! That aside we all had a fab time.

We ate here whilst on a short break. We both had fish courses and it was delicious. You could taste the freshness and my sea bass was the biggest portion I'd ever seen. The staff were great and service was fantastic in a very busy pub. We hope to be back; if you are looking for a great meal out... More

Excellent lunch time fish and chips. This looks as if it has been recently extended with a modern restaurant and outdoor seating area above which would be lovely on a warm day looking out over the beach. The restaurant area was not open at lunchtime but there was room in the bar. Lovely little pub. Good service.

Good beer..a bit expensive. Lovely place to sit and watch the world go by on a lovely sunny day. Quite busy even though it was early in the season.. booking ahead needed for a table for dining.

We were recommended to eat here by the friendly car park attendant at Martin's Haven, and we were happy with the result; but with a slight warning. It's a friendly almost ordinary place, that cooks fresh fish very well, and it's in an excellent location with great sea views of Milford Haven. We called in, unbooked, on a Tuesday lunchtime,... The Griffin is a Pub next to the sea, on the surface it is a traditional pub with lots of activity. You eat in either a room adjacent to the main 'local' bar or in a new less atmospheric dining room. The two things that make this Pub outstanding are firstly the staff, they are friendly, helpful and very efficient.... More

Came here with the band and what a lovely little pub! A bit small. Overall very impressed with the food, Wasn't to sure about the Chips at the start but after trying them I soon changed my mind. Not too impressed with the fake flowers in water though. But apart from that, very enjoyable! But what an amazing View!!! O... More

We recently stayed at the Clock House at Marloes and were recommended this fantastic pub which specialises in seafood. What a find! Warm and welcoming staff, lovely waitress and waiter, who knowledgeably went through the seafood specialities of the day, which he personally had a hand in catching. The food was superbly fresh, tasty and well presented. The icing on... More

During our stay at Dale we ate dinner at the Griffin a couple of times and were always pleased with the food, service and location. The fish menu is quite extensive and appealing and everything we selected was just excellent. Fresh fish is never a cheap option at good restaurants but we found the Griffin did not rip us off... First time visit with friends to this idyllic village and excellent venue. Really liked the new extension with upper deck, good to see modern design that fits in with the surroundings. The staff were friendly, efficient & passionate about what they do, especially the young gentleman who was able to tell us about the fish he'd caught that day when... More
