Memorable evening

We stumbled across the Griffin Inn whilst walking the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Tired of eating our packed food in the tent and lying down in the same with a glass of wine we thought we would treat ourselves to food and wine sitting at a table with chairs. We were 26 people getting the most lovely seafood with a superb vies, a romantic location and in localities both traditional ( more than 200 years old pub) and a tastefully designed modern extention. Friendly staff that even managed to keep a hoard of lively children quiet during speeches and poetry readings (by serving them icecream). Highly recommended!

Best to get here early as the place was full by 7.00pm. Worth the wait as I was really impressed with their cooking, best fish and chips I've had in years.

Today 30/12/2015 visited this pub after a break of 20 years, found the pub to have expanded with an extension of a resturant. The main pub was still the same, but what has changed is the quality of sea food that they now serve, simply first class. All fish caught locally, and cooked to perfection. A warm welcome is given... I arrived here whilst walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and a bit early to get into my B&B. I had booked a table for the evening in advance for myself as I understood that it would be busy. They confirmed the booking and showed me where I would be sitting and checked that I would be happy with it, which... More

We visited the pub after a lovely 7 mile walk round the peninsular and were met with a friendly welcome. Sian ran through every single fresh fish dish on the menu. The scallops and razor clams were followed by cod loin and battered haddock, all of which were perfectly cooked. The choice of 3 real ales completed an excellent meal,... More

Not a cheap meal out, but that would not be expected when five out of six of us had a fresh fish dish. Very good they were too as was the lasagne. The deserts were very pleasant, but were expensive and not quite up to everyone's expectation. We found the Griffin to be a very friendly, with good beer and... More
