Long weekend in Dale with 3 siblings and other halves to celebrate a belated 60th. I and my wife arrived Friday Lunchtime having not discovered any pub at all on the way from Haverford West- we stopped at the Griffin before checking into the cottage and enjoyed a lovely pub lunch cheerfully served in in a lovely atmosphere. The food... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. You can have a cheaper meal but you'd be daft not to order the fish, caught daily from the bay and served in this friendly pub. Certainly not overpriced. Simple, fresh and tasty, and a great pint too!

I enjoyed my razor clams starter, hubbie loved his scallops. For mains I had the turbot and he had the battered haddock - both very fresh and... More

A really great traditional pub with very good ale and excellent bar food. The fresh fish of the day is second to none. It's been extended recently to increase the number of seats inside and I'm not keen on the look of the extension, but I guess it rains a lot in Wales ............. Well worth a visit with friendly... Very friendly staff here and excellent food too. I had half a pint of prawns which is not something you find very often these days, and they were delicious.
