We were shown two menu sheets and a specials board so the food offering is very broad. There was also 16 different species of fish on offer the day we called cooked in many different ways using different supporting ingredients dependant on the flavours required. The claim is that all the food is cooked on the premises. We had the... More

We really loved this little place on the front, we were in the modern dining room and it was surprisingly nice on the inside. We ate with 3 generations including children and everyone had the freshly caught fish in home made beer batter and lovely chips. The ale was good and prosecco was available by the mini bottle, for one.... More

This inn has an extensive separate fish menu that was very expensive compared with other places in the area, for example, the plaice fillets were about £8-10 dearer than at the Stackpole Inn. There is also a separate menu of pub staples from which we ordered a beefburger and lasagne. Both proved acceptable but were nothing special. The service, however,... More

The best local eatery close to Marloes, always busy with a great vibe. Excellent service from the waitresses always with a smile. Food is always very good. A little more expensive than our local in Marloes, but the food doesn't taste microwaved!! Not sure on the new extension, concept is good, but feel that some of the finer details are... More

We thought we would try the Griffin Inn after reading reviews on here and seeing a sample menu which included lots of fish caught daily on their own boat...the starter and main (both fish) were delicious...the pudding not so good (was supposed to be sticky toffee pudding but was more like a treacle sponge..possibly microwaved)......the strangest thing about the night... We had a lovely meal here with friends, it's a bit of a drive for us, but well worth it ! The fish menu is amazing, lots of different choices . And our waitress was brilliant, she explained all the fish dishes without even looking at the menu ! We had razor fish, scollops, &sewin for starters, then John Dory,... More

Visited for lunch with family in August. Glad we booked and had a table in the main pub as the Annexe is all glass, functional but doesn't feel part of the pub. Excellent fish menu with huge portions all nicely cooked. Chips were great, staff friendly and a good selection of draught ales, lagers and cider. Highly recommended.

There were many good reviews that we saw about this pub so we decided to drive especially from St David to have some lunch there. However we were a little disappointed as the pub food was quite pricey and the portions were little. Nevertheless the view from the roofless terrace was beautiful facing the marina and the staff were friendly
