Lovely pasties and cakes

The corned beef pasty and the cheese, onion and leek pasty were delicious. Followed by coffee and walnut cake and an almond slice. Very nice atmosphere for a coffee shop and the staff were all very friendly.

Not really a restaurant but a delightful tea and coffee shop with a fantastic range of home-made cakes and pastries. The corned beef pastie was the best I've had anywhere and the rhubarb and custard cake was different and delicious. It is also the local shop and post-office.

Siop Y Bobl relocated to new building in 2013 and its now established as the heart of the Llanmadoc. It staff by volunteers from the village and is doubles up as village shop and cafe. We stopped for a coffee, but were temped by the impressive range of cakes. My mother and I had Earl Grey Tea with cream and... More

If this is the community shop in Llanmadoc, which I think it is, it was a wonderful find. It is run by the local community, who make the most wonderful cakes and pasties - the brownies were to die for. We sat with our coffee and cake last Saturday, enjoying the lovely view, and the only problem was which cake... More

So happy to have found this cafe on a rainy morning really enjoyed our mugs of coffee and fantastic, fresh baked scones, still warm from the oven. Lovely place, great baking. Worth a visit if you are nearby.

This is a lovely new coffee shop in the village store in Llanmadoc. Fantastic cakes and pastries baked by local people. The shop and cafe are staffed by volunteers who are very helpful and knowledgable about the local area. The shop itself is very well stocked too.

Good luck to this venture. Very nice concept to have a cafe in a community shop. I would like to pop in as much as I can when I visit Gower. Very nice and pleasant people were running the shop/cafe. I will return for the flapjacks!!

The Light House Coffee shop is a community venture & I believe run by volunteers? Lovely selection of treats to have there and some good goods to purchase - Gower Beer. A glorious hot day so we sat o/s and shared a yummy cheese&onion pasty with a bit of a kick to it, followed by a shared piece of cake... More
