The Clock house is a very nice Café in a nice place in the village. The staff were very nice but the cream tea was very poor. A dry scone with a pot of plastic instant cream and a small sachet of jam. The coffee was very good but at £4 50 the cream tea was a let down.

David, thank you for your review. We are however concerned that you were unhappy with your Cream Tea. From your description, we do not recognise the food that you have described. Our Cream Teas come with a freshly baked warmed blueberry scone and our jam is never ever served in a "sachet" but always in an a small china pot... More

Stopped off here for light refreshments before visiting Martin's Haven. The coffee & brownie (with salted ice cream) was delicious. The people opposite were tucking into mussels which looked wonderful and perhaps I should have chosen that but then it's a good reason to return! A perfect setting and we wish the owners every success.

One of the best places we have ever been to, this little cafe in Marloes is wonderful in every way. From the friendly welcome to the tasteful decor to the inspirational menu, this is a great place to eat. The new owners have done a really great job in turning an already excellent cafe into a fantastic one! The chowder... More

We called for coffee one morning and tea another afternoon, and judging by these, lunch must be good too. Drinks, cakes and sandwiches were really good and the bright indoor seating and outdoor terrace were really pleasant. Service was great, up to the point when one of us waited for food that turned out to have been forgotten. But for... More

Visited Marloes as it brings back childhood holiday memories from the 80's and we stayed and ate here in later yrs when it was called The Foxes. Now it is a bed and breakfast with a Tea Room. Lovely sunny day to sit out with the dog and enjoy sandwiches and a cream tea. I have no complaints about the... More

Lovely meal outside with my parents and young daughter. All had delicious fish meals with the chowder to die for! Found the facilities perfect with every clean excellently presented. Female toilets provided the best baby-changing facilities we've ever seen. Thank you very much, we'll be back!

We wanted a light lunch after going on a boat cruise around Skomer and arrived about 3pm having driven straight there. However there was no option for the chowder or quiche but cakes only. I did ask but was refused. It was August in the school holidays and 2.30 seems very early to be stopping lunch. Indeed the shop closed... More

Popped in while passing with 2 hungry little boys, the eldest was delighted both by his fishfinger sandwich and the size of the marshmallow with his hot chocolate! I shared the seafood chowder with the 1 year old and we both really enjoyed it, it was the best I have eaten for a long long time. My husband also gave... More
