Excellent beers-brewed on site. Lovely grub. I had the sausages and mash. Nothing to complain about there. Hearty fodder at a good price. Beautiful river side location. Good service. I'll be back soon.

We came here as we'd seen how popular it was when we visited Marsden last year. At the bar we were told by the young lady behind the bar to go upstairs to the restaurant and sat at any table. The upstairs was really nice, well laid out very light and airy. We sat next to the window to wait.... More

Was searching for somewhere for lunch whilst on holiday in the area and came across this place. Everything from the very friendly girl who I spoke to when I booked the table, to the amazing food served by a lovely Yorkshire lad was first class! I had beer battered fish served with hand cut chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce,... More

Been a few times for dinner and the welcome has always been warm and friendly. The specials change every season with their Wild Boar sausages being a personal fav. The wines are reasonably priced and as a group, we found them very accommodating.

Visited here on Wednesday afternoon, having got off the train at Marsden. An excellent pub, with a good selection of cask ales. Located on the bank of the river, it has an excellent seating area outside, brilliant if it's good weather- which we had that day. The food here is also excellent (having eaten here on a previous occasion). Always... More

Have visited this pub on quite a few times whilst staying in the area. The location is lovely, beautiful setting with some great walks, the pub close to the river and set in the village a very popular spot. The beers brewed on site with guest beers are excellent, my husband always recommends the Butterly Bitter but there are plenty... More

I visited this place on recommendation and was not disappointed. I would advise eating upstairs in the restaurant. The food was excellent with great attention to detail presentation and flavour. A warm welcome greeted us. What a nice find !

Only stayed for a pint here, they had a good range of beers, I opted for Tongue Tickler which was one of their own. Very tasty. Nice atmosphere and quite busy due to the nice bank holiday weather.
