the starters were the best of small menu that we had for dinner. both, the mushroom and the lobster were great. for main dish, the cod was just good and the lamb steak could improve. the service was ample (there always was someone near you when you needed something), polite and efficient, although sometimes they seemed to be not so... We are staying at the hotel for a week and were looking forward to may meals here, and after a bad start where we found the service to be an issue, we persisted due to the great food and convenience. The service issues included the apparent restaurant preference/requirement for the wine order after the maitre de takes the food order,... More

Okay, yes the area in which the hotel is located is not great, the outside of the hotel is not great but once you're inside, it's beautiful. We were upgraded to a room in the garden just beside the spa. It was a fabulous room, lovely turn down service. Not cheap but so worth it for a treat. It's expensive... More

The Auberge is set in a beautiful courtyard and serves traditional yet not overwhelmingly heavy french food. It is expensive as observed, but not outrageously so if you are looking for a Michelin starred experience while in France. You can get better meals that this for less money, but its worth the experience at least once. You are getting a... More

Great food but you pay a premium. 24 Euro for dessert! Set menus at 55, 65, and 95 Euro. They offer bonus tastings between courses and a childrens menu at 20 Euro. Excellent cheese options as well. Wine prices all very high.

We ate here both nights we stayed at the hotel. The food was imaginative and thoroughly enjoyable. The sommelier recommended great wine matches that didn't break the bank. Our first nights service was faultless though a bit slow on the second night. The cheese board is Devine!

I loved the varied choice of the menu and the fascinating extras at the start of a meal and end. Excellent choices of cheese.
