My wife and I decided to lunch here after reading the reviews on TA and we were not disappointed. We sat outside on the quay in clean conditions overlooking the Marina which was just a few feet away and the service was very good. The food and presentation was excellent and great value. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for... More

Walking along the busy Royan Promenade on a busy summer evening trying to look for a decent restaurant - certainly a difficult undertaking considering the amount of restaurants located there. Luckily we found 'Le petit bouchon' whee we ended up having a delicious, innovative fish dinner. I can highly recommend to search for this restaurant while in Royan, everything was... More

Stopped off in Royan whilst driving south to Bordeaux. It was approaching the end of lunchtime so we were pushing our luck to find somewhere nice to eat. Having checked out TA, we made haste to Le Petit Bouchon and were delighted that we did. I had a most delicious goats cheese and basil panna cotta at the recommendation of... More

We had an excellent meal in this restaurant. We booked ahead, and I would certainly recommend doing that as it was very busy in the evening. They have two sittings at the tables, so we were warned that we only had the table until 9.15. That said, the service was almost too quick and we were away well before the... More

Having taken pot luck with another restaurant at the port for lunch, which was ok This restaurant was recommended by a local - I then checked it out Trip Advisor. We had dinner there having booked a table for the terrace. We were not disappointed, all three courses came promptly the starter, main course and sweet were all excellent (three... More

We searched out this little gem via recommendations on trip advisor and I'm glad we did. Simple but really beautifully cooked and presented fish and desserts to die for! Also very friendly, smiley service and a good option for children. Best meal of the holiday and I wish we'd found it last year to avoid having to eat in one... More

This restaurant is at the port. There is no road between the tables and the port, so it is a great place just to be there. I had the 'humeurs du chef' and is was really great. In the evening it can be crowded, so a reservation could help to get a table.

Excellent food in a great setting overlooking the harbour, and bay beyond, in Royan. Our waiter was superb and had a great personality and knows his craft. The food was delicious we had Thai gambas to start and then sea bass on a bed of Provence vegetables. The cooking and flavours were perfectly balanced and all this for €16.90 per... More

many thanks to all the staff and especially the chef who made our visit so enjoyable. my wife is vegetarian and we always struggle for food in France but here nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to accommodate her. my fish was expertly cooked and the standard of service and food was first class. highly recommended.
