Excellent Seafood

Checked out Trip advisor and this seemed to be one of the better places to eat in Dieppe so I booked for my last lunchtime meal before leaving France. Lots of locals eat here and the food seemed to be of a very good standard. I pushed the boat out and had the 5 fish course which although a... read more

Why such a low score? We arrived at the resaturant which was completely empty (26th September Friday 7.30pm), we asked for a table and were asked if we have a reservation. We said we did not and the phone rang and the lady, without even 'pardon', answered the phone straight away and turn away. The guy looked at us and... More

Very good is perhaps a slightly higher rating than it deserves but it was difficult to find and faults with the cooking or the service. The location is not the most attractive meaning that dining outside is not a real option. Inside, nothing wrong with the room but largely unmemorable. One of our main courses was excellent , the other... More

The €16 lunch menu is a bargain. We had a scrumptious light rillettes de poison then a magret de canard, perfectly pink in the middle and seared on the outside - a lovely honey cinnamon sauce and served with a wonderful properly made dauphinoise - just the right balance of cream and garlic. Pudding was strawberries with ice cream. Perfect!... More

Excellent value menu with a great busy atmosphere. Traditional opening times; lunchtime then closed until evening, whereas other restaurants for the tourists are open all day. Full of locals eating there for lunch paying with their LV's. Very very busy, with pleasant staff working very hard but not kept waiting. Food very well cooked with extensive menu but only one... This restaurant is located opposite the Tourist Office and is ranked 2nd in Dieppe-there are many good restaurants here. The staff are lovely and Julien was particularly helpful in explaining the content of their unusual dishes. We had four meals here, since the quality of the food was extremely good. The house wine was of good quality and the coffee... More

We chanced upon this restaurant on a day's visit to Dieppe. Not having read any reviews, we chose it because it was full of local people. We had not booked but got a table for 2 as we arrived at about 1.30. We chose the set menu at 16 euros for 3 courses. There was no choice, but portions were... More

Checked out this restaurant as it was number 2 in Dieppe on this site, and it really deserves this position. Wonderful service and amazing food. Gave us tastes we've never tasted before. Definitely recommend it!

This restaurant is central, though slightly offset from the main row of restaurants on the harbour, so it might be missed on a casual stroll. That would be a pity as it was by far the best place we dined and I wish we had returned here instead of trying out others on the quay. Wonderful food (lobster ravioli was... More

This restaurant is often where we eat saturday lunch after visiting the huge Dieppe market, The Prix fixe menu is 16 euro for 3 courses and is plentiful, delicious and extremely popular. You need to book and not mind being cheek by jowl with other people. We never bother with the a la carte as that looks expensive and we... More
