This restaurant had good reviews so we decided to eat there . The three course meal was very good, plenty of choice and all dishes well presented. Not the friendliest of waiters but a pleasant evening.

We had dinner here whilst on a weekend break , 2 adults and 2 teenage children , The 19 euro set menu is very good value , delicious food and relaxed atmosphere , We would definitely return.

Reservation is recommended as service is at set times. Fish soup to die for on first visit led to our second visit a few days later for a proper meal (we try to avoid ferry food that can be good or bad but always uncertain). No uncertainty here. Most enjoyable.

On one of our bi-annual trips to Dieppe we were delighted to find Le New Haven open for dinner. This time we took two friends who had not been before and they insisted that we went back for a second night. We chose the 19 euro set menu [Service Compris] which gave us a good choice and including cheese was... More

There are a lot of restaurants along the harbour side in Dieppe and on a wet Friday lunchtime in January not many were very busy. We made our decision on which to try based on three factors. Proximity to the car - it really was very wet. How busy and therefore, we hoped, how popular the restaurant was and finally... More

the menu at 18.90 euros. seafood a specialty of the entire town with practically all the restaurants serving moules mariniere and other shellfish, we were adventurous with a starter of whelks, shrimp, prawns, winkles and clams. not cooked enough/at all for our tastes, (maybe ours was uncooked because we are english and do not know better??) the fish gratin was... I sometimes query TA reviews. My set 14 euro meal in New Haven restaurant this evening left me cold. Started with 'house speciality' Monkfish liver. This was served chilled on a plate which had obviously been prepared hours earlier, the parsley garnish was limp. It came poorly presented with one slice of toast and foiled portion of butter on the... More

Set along a row of restaurants facing the yacht harbour, which is across the road, the New Haven is well presented with fabric tablecloths and napkins, good decoration and a proper restaurant feel to it. The staff were overworked on the evening of our visit, so although the food was good it took a long time to come. Not a... More
