Surprising

Too small room, odd decoration based on small hens evrywhere. Difficult to have pricacy... But, even for the cheapest menu, the food is good with a creative touch and the service is honest.

The restaurant was open when we arrived and looked busy. We thought we would try it because of some of the reviews on here but don't be mislead. The reviews may be good but the manners of the owners/ waiting staff, are atrocious. I asked politely if there was "Une table pour deux" and was told most abruptly "Non, ferment!... More

Le Juquin is the last restaurant in a long row of restaurants when you walk from the center of Dieppe to the seaside along the harbour. We're glad we did. It took us some time to decide to sit down there but the 'Cuisine traditionelle' on the wall is what convinced us and we we were not disappointed in anyway.... More

We have just eaten at restaurant Le Juquin I have to say it was quite a miserable place lacking atmosphere and a large degree of customer service. The starter was fine but the main course was poor. The bread, which was obviously from a good boulangerie was metered out with painstaking accuracy, basically not quite enough. It is certainly not... More

We lit upon this restaurant after trawling despondently up and down the harbourside in Dieppe on a chilly August evening. It had a sort of friendly feeling about it, and the dishes advertised outside looked interesting - regional cooking, but not as predictable as most of the Norman places. Real thought seemed to have gone into them. I don't have... More

We ate here twice, and had very good food in pleasant surroundings, always well presented and good value. The Patron appears to have a considerable interest in cheese dishes, and interesting savoyard dishes and fondues vie with the excellent local Norman cheeses, on the a la carte.

The main meat courses were poor - quality of meat dubious and drowned in a cheese sauce.

We stopped here on a rainy day, needing a warm place and some hot food. The place is quite cute, rustic looking and their specialties are cheeses and eggs. They have an all egg based menu too! I had a salad with local warm cheeses, which was nice, then we had some mussels mariniere and an onglet dish. The cidre... More
