Don't tell the world about this place

Pretty good value for very well prepared food, always need to book these days as the secret gets out. A fine menu, but it's fish that rules, great Kent catches.

Took my son for his 25th birthday, with my partner, for Sunday lunch. Even though our table was for 2.15pm, the quality of the food was first class. The choice on the set menu was excellent and each course was delicious. We were not hurried and the service was warm and friendly. I cannot fault the meal, atmosphere or service.... More

Monday to thursday 3 course set dinner, no more to be said. Excellent fayre at an excellent price, good service polished off by some really well kept real ale. Lots of fish choices as youd expect from a pub so aptly named.

This was once a pub and might still be on a cold weekday evening in February. But due to the success of the kitchen it is no longer a place you will pop into for a quiet pint and a cosy chat with the bar staff. You are likely to find it a hive of frenetic activity with each seat... More

Another superb evening at the Three Mariners. Food as fabulous as ever and atmosphere unpretentious and relaxing. As usual we ended up chatting to other diners nearby - this is normal because the whole ambience is laid back. Staff really busy but still had time to interact with customers. Do book if you want to try this restaurant as, even... More

The food, service, beer and atmosphere of this old Inn is as good as it gets. Travellers to this part of Kent simply must turn off the beaten track for a memorable experience.

We had the private room for a party 19 to celebrate a 50th birthday and they coped excellently with the numbers. The food was delicious, very hot and great portions. We were a bit rowdy and the staff were charming. Excellent service. Can't recommend this venue enough. Absolutely lovely!
