We were disappointed on this trip to St. John to find that Island Blues was not serving food. We were told it would resume food service in September. You can still enjoy the bar and the tables alongside the water, but don't go there hungry.

At one time, this was one of the best places in Coral Bay. The food was great, they had live entertainment and it was lively. I don't know what happened, new owners, management issues? However, it is not a place to be. It does not appear to be clean, they were not serving food on our last visit nor was... More

Tried going at 6pm on Wed. The place looked dirty, and we were told they weren't serving food. A restaurant at dinner time not serving food? Next.

We made several stops here on our recent visit to St. John. Colette, owner/bartender, is great! So friendly & welcoming. She sure knows how to make some delicious drinks. Just loved the whole atmosphere.. comfortable, casual and right on the water. Had a few different apps..nachos, wings, etc... All very good. We also enjoyed the live music on one of... More

What a great bar in paradise! It was our daily watering hole, and Caulette (owner/operator) was extremely nice and considerate through out our stay. She made us feel at home, instantly. We even helped her name a new concoction she mixed for my lady. A White Russian with coconut milk instead of regular milk. Became known as "The Lebeachski", nothing... More

Looks kinda like a place you'd not take your Mom to. But, you'd be making a big mistake! The chef is an island lady who KNOWS how to cook. Try the fish and chips. You've never seen such big chunks of fish! The rum drinks are very nice and the beer is cold. This is a fun stop in Coral... More

We stopped into Island Blues for a drink on our way into Cruz Bay one night, we were a little intimated to go in because it felt very "local" and dark. Claudette who seems to be the main and possibly only(?) bartender was very warm and welcoming. She makes great drinks and suggested that we come back when their kitchen... More

My wife and I were here on Christmas Eve. The kitchen wasn't open but Collette was open for drinks. We had the Key Lime PI (her version of the Lime in de coconut) and it was the best we'd had in the 4 restaurants we tried it around the island. The drinks and atmosphere were so good we came back... Island Blues was a real treat. We stopped in for drinks several times during our stay enjoying the friendly atmosphere at the bar and delicious blender drinks. I highly recommend the Key Lime Pi and Bushwacker. The food prepared by chef Carmen was delicious as well. Loved the crab cakes and grilled Mahi sandwich. At first glance it looks like... More

We always stop here for lunch and saw the recent reviews about the quality of food had disintegrated but something must have changed. The food was as good as it was 3 years ago for casual local Lunch. I heard that the old local chef just returned with the new owners and possibly that was the problem ? Well, the... More
