Set in the beautiful grounds of La Pari-Pari, fatCUPID is tucked away down a quiet lane off the main Pantai Tengah strip. Owned and operated by three cousins, the restaurant features recipes from their family's rich Nyonya heritage, incorporating dishes learned from their Grandmother, and some Aussie favourites that are a reference to the cousins' shared experiences living in Australia. Great for a laid-back breakfast or lunch, and a fantastic intimate venue for a quiet, cozy dinner.

We found this place on Tripadvisor and had to convince our lovely taxi driver it did in fact exist as it was a little hard to find - keep an eye out for the sign on the main road! The atmosphere was mellow and relaxing. The music and vibe was perfect, we could have been anywhere - Rio, Barcelona, Ibiza!... More

The place is a bit hard to find as it is not on the main drag and signage is not the best. The setting was lovely, with the restaurant overlooking the pool. The food, however, was not. We found the food to be overpriced and quite tasteless. Probably our worst and certainly our most expensive meal in Malaysia. Perhaps we... More

A nice restaurant tucked away from the main road meant the area was peacefully quiet. We ordered a number of items that were very nice (Western and Asian) and they were presented well. I had the steak sandwich which was nice but the steak was a little chewy and there was too much mayonnaise on it. Although for the price... More

Food was great, service was great. Price is good, and the ambience is really special. Very romantic, and nice for a quiet brunch. The view is just so surreal, and it's a little hard to get there without a car or transport of some sort. However, a wonderful place to visit for a hearty breakfast. Portions are very decent. Would... More

We visited FatCupid during our recent Langkawi stay on the back of Trip Advisor reviews. To be perfectly frank about Pantai Cenang in general, decent food presented in a contemporary fashion is NOT easy to find . . .Trip Advisor was pretty accurate in our opinion ! So, the venue is tucked away off the main road to the southern... More

Had dinner at the fatCUPID on the recommendation of our guide from Dev's Adventure tours who said it had the best nyonya food on the island. Well although it serves some nyonya dishes it was more an Asian and Western fusion restaurant. The nyonya/ Malaysian dishes we had such as beef rendang, chicken pongteh and prawn sambal were all delicious... More

Love the nyonya dishes and the watermelon lychee freeze drink we tried. There are good selection of western and nyonya food.

While there may be some hassle to locate this restaurant in the first place, but once u found it, you are rewarded with the exceptionally warm welcome by the staffs here. Everyone including the hotel (la pari pari) staffs, the manager and the waiter and waitresses are all attentive and there to make sure everyone had a wonderful dining experience.... More

Super friendly staff, amazing fresh cocktails, and beautiful food (even my French friend agreed)... We ended up having two desserts each... As the lovely waitress said "have some local and something sinful" It was empty to... We swam, drank cocktails, and ate great food whilst listening to jazz music. Felt like we were in the 1960s but in a gorgeous... More
