I would had ever expected such a jewel some 15 kilometers from Mombasa, Monsoon restaurant inside the Jumba Ruins National Monument Site of Mtwapa, excellent seafood right by the sea in an exquisite relaxed environment, superb welcome and hospitality. i love the spot mainly because it doubles up as a monument and then there is monsoon restaurant . Located away from all the hotels it might seem a bit far for food but it is definitely worth the drive. A beautiful set up for a small restaurant. As always this restaurant has freshly cooked sea food. The hosts are always on hand and Aziza is am excellent cook. I will be back again for sure.

Just a nice low key place, serves fresh fresh seafood, cooked to perfection. With the sand in between your toes and breeze in your hair. Just loved it. When there, take you time have a swim and a glass. Worth the wait. Great and friendly owner make you feel at home.
